I’ve been loving my new dash cam. I feel much more secure driving now that I’ve finally invested in a dash cam. Setting up was very easy. It comes with multiple clips to hold the wire and a tool to push the wires under the plastic of the car. The wires to the front and back camera are long and definitely can fit all cars. I also really love the app as it’s very easy to use. The quality of the front and camera are great and I love that it stores the videos until there is no more storage and just replaces the oldest one. Overall great investment for my safety and peace of mind!

Unfortunately, this is just another one of the many Chinese dashcams that have flooded the market. The PROS: The packaging, form, fit and finish is nice. The unit itself is pretty lofty and feels decent in the hand. The kit comes with everything needed to do a clean installation, including sticky cable management tiedowns, a trim tool to tuck cabling where necessary, and 2 of all the adhesive mounting hardware incase you need a 2nd chance or want to reinstall it in a different vehicle after the fact. The rear camera has quite a long cable, it would likely have no issues running the length of anything smaller than the largest suvs out there. It does have gps coordinates and indicated speed which refreshes about once every second. The CONS: The picture both front and rear leaves a lot to be desired. Its likely a fixed aperture 1080p sensor, and uses really bad upscaling to "4k" all of which is at 30 fps max with horrible frametimes and bandwidth. If you need the plate numbers of a car more than 10 feet away from you, this camera wont help any. It lacks any kind of user interface that doesn't require a mobile app to use. The mobile app constantly begs for your location data and unnecessary permissions (can be avoided by refusing them 3 or 4 times). It uses wifi instead of bluetooth so when you are connected to it, you dont have internet access. Nighttime performance is quite bad, there isnt any form of "night vision" present as the seller describes. The seller hasn't provided any real way to find the (required for 24/7 recording) hard wiring kit other than an ASIN number which cant be easily looked up by consumers. There is no horizontal mounting adjustment, so if you mount it in the corner of a curved windshield, it will likely be pointing too far to that side to capture the far side of the vehicle. Overall, if this camera was marked at the ~$80-100 price point, it may be worth it if you just want the peace of mind. If you want a high enough resolution image to get plate numbers off of a passing vehicle, then look elsewhere. Nice enough construction, hampered by a poor image sensor and processing.

Pros: - Complete set in the package with front and rear cameras. I recommend finding another high endurance micro SD to use with this even though the pack comes preinstalled with a SD card. - Small form factor, easy to tuck away on the windshield and rear window - Plenty of cable to work with - Power adapter is built well and has a red LED light on the accessory USB slot. - Sound quality is ok - Ease of installation depends on the vehicle. I installed mine on a RAV4 hybrid 2020-2023 year model and it works well. Cons: - Image quality is a bit grainy and is not 4k - Recording frequency is a bit choppy - It is necessary to use a 3rd party AZdome app to change the settings and access live footage with your phone. This works by using a local wifi 5g connection from the device to your phone. You can rename and device and password which I recommend. However, while connected to the device, you cannot use internet or data on your phone. I recommend setting up the device with the app, then uninstalling the app afterwards. Access to your videos are stored on an SD card which can be transferred to your computer with an SD card adapter.

Time will tell, but this unit seems to be very well built and does record good video. The mobile app is very useful and the rear mounted camera is just what I needed. So far, I feel like this was an excellent choice, and I do recommend!
