I purchased this setup to replace my existing system in my truck. The mounting system for this unit doesn't use suction cups that pop off the windshield in high heat. This thing mounts rock solid. Setup was a breeze and all of the wiring is very simple. Images are crisp and clean with no issues with out-of-focus images due to movement. I did have a problem getting the correct in-car camera for use with this but support was EXCELLENT and quickly provided me with the proper part. The support team has been EXCEPTIONALLY responsive which makes me feel much better about buying a product from a brand I wasn't familiar with.

AZDOME 550 pro purchased this year on. Kack Friday and last year, the camera works great. Although the one this year the cord was not correct. issue was resolved easily. The application to go with the camera on your phone.. THAT Doesn’t connect to either phones. Tried all different ways still no success. In looking into the reviews a lot people have had the same issues.

I elected to have this product installed instead of installing it myself. The quality of the product is excellent so far. Excellent video quality both front and rear and there is an in cabin recording unit available as well. The quality of the video is great and has excellent night vision capabilities. Records perfectly even down E470 in Colorado at night. I originally bought this product to have in the car I would give my 15 year old son but liked it so much I decided to get one for our other vehicle. I'll be buying the same one for the car we get to replace the vehicle we give my son. I was missing a rear mounting clip and reached out to customer service. They were prompt in delivering a new one at zero cost. Super easy seller to work with, great product, great service. I highly recommend this seller and product!

I have owned about 5 cameras of this brand (m63 model) and all worked great, I just bought this one because came with the rear view camera, (the others too but I never had the chance to install them) because they required to be outside and required to be wired to power. What I like the most of this one is how small it is, I was expecting something bulkier, the rear camera can be attached to the window and do not require extra wiring, only the one the needs to be routed and attached to the front camera ( it took me about 10 minutes or so) the quality ( is only 1080 as usual but is good) my car has 20% tinted windows and the clarity is good, the front camera I only checked a couple of videos but it seems to be slightly less quality than the previous model that I had, that's why I gave it 4 stars, I have to keep testing it to see the final result.

The media could not be loaded. May 4, 2023 I had bought this a couple days ago and just installed it. 1st I needed to format the SD card as requested, so I purchased a whole separate SD port to plug into my computer just for the 64G provided SD card in the package. 2nd I went ahead and reinserted the SD card into the dash cam and recorded ONE full days worth (May 4). At the end of the day I took out the SD card, plugged it into my laptop just to see how the clips are recording and all that but to my surprise it’s a whole bunch of 3min clips for just one day. Not going to lie that is pretty frustrating. For future reference, god forbid I witness an accident or get into one. I don’t want to be scrolling through a load of 3min clips. I’m not sure if i’m able to adjust this but if I find a way I will come back and update on here. 3rd the download app is worthless to me. it doesn’t let me pick up clips from the app. I may be having trouble, not sure. I’m going to look into it more and see what I can fix. If not, I will be returning. Update: 5/5/23 POSITIVE 1st purchasing the SD port was a hassle at first since I was having issues with my mobile app BUT I will say I am glad I now have my SD port for future reference in case anything gets lost or my app is not working right. 2nd Azdome page responded to me on a complete different social source as I reached out to them with questions. I was having issues with 3min recording increments but this is adjustable in the menu of the azdome device. Also, In the azdome app, all clips are separated by each day so it’s not just a hot mess. 3rd My issue with the app was that I was not able to see any clips or just in general connecting the device. By turning on the wifi on the azdome app->connecting to phone->then going back on the app, it will work just fine!!! Very happy will keep thank you!

The camera is cool easy to install and it looks great. The app. The app is hot garbage the videos you record don’t load or download and you have to jump through hoops just to connect to the cam. I’d you do want this camera i suggest getting a micros sd adapter so you can view the videos on your Pc. Update: I was told by the customer service if I want my “4k” camera app to work I should stop using 4k and down scale to 1080p… why on earth would I buy a 4k camera to use it on 1080p? Fix the app!!!

Cons: This takes about 1 day to install in a truck. We had to purchase an extension cord. It drains the vehicle battery even when wired into the circuit board, requiring a trickle charger or jump-start. Hardware is tiny and easy to drop/loose while installing. If you don't keep it plugged into a permanent power source, it will not catch anything on camera when vehicle is off. Pros: for the price you do get front and rear camera coverage and it's all in one tiny screen. It records all incidents to SD card and you can check footage from the app that it says to install. It's adequate for a teen new driver to CYA when you have liability only ins. coverage. It only gets front and rear but a wide range. I'm continuing to look into better ways of making this work with less on going battery issues. The goal was protection for my teen driver and have an accurate record of any mishaps. Goal met so far but the battery thing is the biggest problem.
