Had a more expensive pump that expired. This replacement was cheap and puts out power. Will shoot out. Not for a small fountain.

We put this pump in our water wheel. We would always have problems with expensive pumps not able to keep the wheel moving all the way around without having to stop and then go again. Ordered this pump for an outdoor fountain to replace the original pump. This unit came well packaged, and was easy to set up. What I found was that this is a POWERFUL pump that moves a lot of water. It turned out to have so much flow that it was actually overflowing the return capacity of the fountain. I have replaced it with a pump with half the output, and this has resolved the problem.
