The media could not be loaded. This is a great digital meat thermometer for an unbeatable price! It's quick, efficient, and super easy to use. It's waterproof too, so you don't have to worry about cleaning the outside, and common meat cooking temps are printed on the front side to remind you of safe cooking recommendations. There aren't any instructions included on how to use this probe, and when I got it, I couldn't figure out which button I needed to press, to power the thermometer on. Turns out, all you have to do to power ON is open the probe. It really couldn't be any easier! I've demonstrated this function in my quick video clip. For under ten bucks, this little thermometer does everything I need and nothing more. I wanted something uncomplicated, but durable, and that's exactly what I got! ... show more

No more second guessing when you need to check temperatures for meats, oil, etc. Has both Fahrenheit and Celsius and shuts itself off to save battery. Very good product!

Ultra easy to use and read, but the backlight does not stay on long enough to read several different times in a short period. You have to constantly press the display light to see it in lower light conditions, like a grill or oven. Overall, Would buy again.

Thermometer works great! Has quite a temperature range, turns on when unfold the probe, turns off when you fold it back in, great value! LCD backlight turns off quickly but there's a button to turn it back on. Only thing i don't like are the batteries it takes - those button/coin cell 2032's. It does come with batteries but it would've been nicer if they were just 1 or 2 AAA's. Still, good food thermometer at a GREAT price! ... show more

I have gone through many meat thermometers in the past and never have seemed to find one that I was willing to purchase again. Fast forward to finding this easy to use, easy to read, sturdy and dependent digital thermometer. It turns on when you flip it open but doesn’t stay on as to waste battery. The probe blew ads quick unlike the dial ones. I’m not afraid of this falling apart on me anytime soon and if it does it was priced fair enough to purchase over and over again. Use these for the grill and kitchen. They work well and have a fast reading. Just need to close after use before reading temperature again. Like this one so much we bought multiple ones as gifts for family members. Only down side is the magnets are strong enough to hold it on the side of the fridge.
