We had a pizza party with my daughter in law and the grandkids…everyone “designed” a pizza to share…they were delicious! I used hickory pellets because I wanted more Smokey flavor…the crust was bubbly and it was fully cooked in a minute and a half! It was inexpensive and I bought it to check my griddle temp for large church breakfasts. Knobs are never accurate and there are 4 elements across a 48” griddle and those spaces need to match temps so all pancakes cook the same from right to left when I flip them. This temp gun allows me to set it and forget it!! Accuracy is everything on a hot food line. I also use it to check my horses hooves for temperature differences which can indicate a hoof infection without stressing the horse. Also safer. When one hoof is hotter than the other three, time to investigate. I also shoot trailer hubs for the same reason when I’m hauling loads. Bad bearings start warming and if you are diligent in taking readings, you can avoid a failure by adding grease before it gets worse. Get one!! It’s fun and you will find 100 ways to use it!! ... show more
