We have kept a sensory swing in our home for the last 12 years because it helps our autistic son regulate. This is the second swing we have bought (we got rid of the first one during the cross country move ) and we have had it for just over one year and the metal hook pieces broke right in half while my son was using it. My son is 15 years old and 150 pounds. Needless to say, he is now traumatized and something he once enjoyed very much and relied on, he is now fearful of. Unbelievable!!!

My son loves his swing, he is a 4year old with autism, and when thing get to be too much you can often find him just sitting in his swing playing with some toys. We have ours hanging in a hall visible to the living space, it goes up and down easily with a small bracket left on the ceiling.

I got this for my 8 year old grandchild to be set up in her bedroom and she absolutely loves it. It doesn't take much space, colors are pretty the material is so soft and sturdy. She absolutely loves it. I also got another one for my grandson. Their parents love it for the kids as well because it doesn't take much space and it's sturdy.

Bought this for my son's room so he could have quiet sensory time when he gets too worked up. He has Autism. Took us awhile to get the room set up for it (put it up the end of July). He loved it and would sit in it to watch TV sometimes. He showed me today that it is ripped and he can't use it now. He was trying to get me to fix it and didn't understand I can't fix this.

I haven't hung it yet, but I am so far impressed with the hardware, it certainly is heavy duty! The material of the sling is amazing too, I have 3 kids that are all likely on the spectrum and sometimes like the tighter spaces, but they all definitely like swinging. I would actually like to use this too at times. I guess I might have to get more. The material is the kind of slicker, stretchy material if texture is a thing. Kind of like some athletic shirts. Just be aware of that texture. It doesn't bother me, but I know some may not like it. I haven't hung it because I'll be moving soon and don't really want to have to patch holes before I move. Like I said, the hardware is very sturdy, as are the bolts. I don't know where would have a concrete ceiling, but I do appreciate that they include hangers for that. Also, make sure you actually hit a truss with this. I may actually modify a portion of the ceiling with a 4x4 just to make sure. I like that it comes in a nice bag too, if you want to make it portable. You might be able to rig something outside too so you just have to unclip from indoors and take it outside for yourself or the kids. I'm hoping the material lasts, it does seem thin, but it has to be to be that stretchy. Overall, I'm definitely impressed with it and believe I might have to buy more if it's as big of a hit as I think it will be.

Purchased the item for kids at a clinic and unfortunately after just a few uses, it began to tear at the top seam of the swing. Uncertain if it's a defective one but it's no longer usable. Disappointed that it did not last even 6 months.
