  • Good bike for the buck.
Color: Green Size: 26 inch
This is a pretty good bike. It was easy to assemble and the instructions are simple to follow, make sure everything is tight because I found a loose caliper. It rode good right out of the box. Took a short ride to test the shifting and braking. Both needed minor adjustments but now shifts smoothly and stops hard. For a cheap bike this thing is amazing. ... show more

  • Excellent Mt Bike
Color: Gray Size: 26 inch
I bought this bike for my 12 year old and it was delivered 3 days before the delivery date. I read in reviews that the installation instructions were horrible but honestly they were not that bad. I had to install the front fork, neck, handle bars, seat, pedals, and make slight adjustments to the brakes and shifters. It took me about 90 minutes to get it all done but I have never put a bike together before. The nice thing also is it also comes with all the tools you need so that was a plus. My son loves the bike and it seems like a very good bike for the money. I was shocked to see all the hardware that it comes with is Shimano parts, so it comes with quality parts. I would definitely recommend this bike for the money, accessories, and all features included. ... show more

  • Nice bike for the price.
Color: Green Size: 26 inch
Bike arrived on time. The assembly was pretty straight forward. Front break cable needed a small amount of adjustment. Bought this bike for my wife and she is happy with it. For a $300 bike it will serve her well. The quality of the aluminum frame is nice. The grupo of accessories are a step above average and operate well. ... show more

  • The Avasta AV300 w/Shimano gears and disk brakes
Color: Gray Size: 26 inch
The bike came 80% assembled, very well packed, nothing was damaged or lost during shipment and came with all the tools I needed to finish the assembly, it even included a pair of cloth gloves. It took me a little over an hour to finish it up and get it ready for a test ride. The Shimano gears worked perfectly for a smooth ride shifting through all the gears. I would recommend the Avasta AV300 with 26 in wheels it is very well built and will last a long time. ... show more

  • Exceptional bike with disc brakes!
Color: Gray Size: 26 inch
Exceptional bike with easy setup. This thing has been great compared to my old steel bike and the disc brakes at this price point are an added bonus!

  • Decent budget bike
Color: Gray Size: 27.5 inch
Decent bike for the money, you get what you pay for right. The frame is sturdy yet still light. Front fork shocks are spring, not air so not adjustable but still handles well on the trails (greens and blues only). I replaced the tires, the ones that come with are slick street tires that would not qualify as MTB tires. Shimano gears needed adjustment after arrival but running smooth now. The brakes are small so they take a little longer to stop you, but still better than bumper brakes. Biggest issue is the quick release front wheel does not stay closed (on) even when cranked down. Any slight bump the front tire came off... I fixed it by zip tying the latch to the front fork and stays on fine. If it came with better tires and a reliable quick release front axle, it would be 4 or 5 stars. ... show more

  • Confirmed purchase
Color: White Size: 27.5 inch
Don't bother with the instruction manual....unless you allow cursing in front of kids. My 12yo and his dad had this bike put together in about an hour with help from the video. Or maybe it was YouTube. Either way, little to no cursing! Great bike tho! Arrived fairly timely...it was delivered by FedEx so we all know how that goes. ... show more

  • Early thoughts. May edit.
When mine arrived, the rear Derailleur wasn't working correctly at all and was digging into the spokes. After some investigation, I noticed the hanger was bent. For anyone wondering, this bike uses what you can find on Amazon as a "Derailleur Hanger 442" for the hanger. The universal ones didn't work at all. Now that I have a good hanger and have done numerous tweaks to the high and low screws plus the cable tension and other bits, I can change gears well except it just doesn't want to click into the largest gear. I'm going to be taking it in to a bike shop eventually for them to look into that and for the front having the chain rub against it making an annoying sound I can't adjust away. Another thing I'm hoping the bike shop can help me with is the handle bars. I want them higher but it seems like it was shipped with the stem at its highest point. This could be something I'm missing though, so I will find out when I take it to the shop. Now, I know so far this all seems negative, but I have given it a 4 star rating because despite the little issues I've had personally, it's a great bike. The Shimano system is great, brakes work wonderfully, the seat is honestly not bad for a stock seat, the cables being inside the frame looks nice and you can still feel the cables at certain areas for any adjusting, the handlebar grips are comfortable, the gear shift is easy to read and comfortable to click, and the mud guards and rear bike rack are two really cool additions. I did remember another few things: when you go to install, the instructions will say to use hardware and it seems like it says that the hardware would be in a separate bag or something, but it's already on the spots on the bike where they will be going. It confused me. Also, the brake caliper has a plastic guard on it which blends in well for a rookie like me, so take that out instead of stressing out lol. Another thing is that the bike stand is great BUT I may have been missing something, because it would not hold well without nuts, but thankfully I had bolts that were with other accessories I bought and they had nuts, so I used those for the bike stand instead. It is a nice bike so far. Unfortunately I only took it out once or twice so far until a cold snap happened, but that's what happens when you live in Wisconsin lol. I will likely update later on with my findings and after putting more miles into the bike, plus will add photos as well. ... show more
