You should get one of these boosters. They can get you out of a bind, and you can be a good Samaritan to someone else. They can also be used to charge anything USB. This particular one, Avapow A18, is charged via USB-C cable (one is included, although you will need to use your own USB wall charger, which everyone has already. I prefer this to boosters using a round plug type charger cord that you have to be sure not to misplace. It has 2 USB-A out; one regular, one QC 3.0. This unit appears to be well made, having a solid feel to it and excellent clips. They're sturdy, with a narrower tip than others, making it easy to access the battery terminals in tight spots. It has a nice semi-hard nylon fabric zippered case with enough room to easily put everything back in it. It easily jump started my tacoma with a low battery, around 11 volts. Then, our of curiosity, to simulate a worse case scenario, I disconnected the vehicle battery completely and was able to easily start my truck with just the booster! It still had all 4 blue charge level lights lit, so not too much of a drain. To do this, or charge a battery that's very dead, connect the clips and just press and hold the red button (overriding the low voltage sensor) until the blue light turns green (you will also her a click from the internal relay), then start your vehicle. I can't comment on longevity, but it seems built well enough to last a good while.

I truly had reservations before purchasing this unit. My starter was starting to go out on my 2014 VW CC R-Line and it was killing my battery. Unfortunately I had to call roadside while out shopping for school items because my car wouldn’t start. After waiting 2 hours (it was 97 degrees and my 2 year old and 13 yr old were with me..soo you can imagine how my day was going) Money was a little tight but I decided to purchase this. I read my car needs 810 amps to jump start. The next day after it arrived (it came with 3 bars already charged), my neighbor needed a jump start. When he saw my unit, he was a little apprehensive but was going to try. After I followed the directions and placed the unit,he turned his key on and his Ford Focus immediately started! I’ve since used this 8 times (the unit is still at 3 bars) without any issues! The included case is awesome! It has cut outs for the unit to fit tightly and a storage area for the wire. There is also a middle divider that protects the unit from scratches. This is honestly the BEST purchase I’ve made in a very long time!! I will purchase an additional one for my husband’s car!!

We have this for our work van that has a short somewhere in the wiring, so it drains the battery if not drive in 2 days. This has been amazing.. when on jobs we can charge our cells or use the flashlight function. Plus we've jumped the van 3 times on 1 charge and the vehicle was dead dead and didn't need to push the red button just regular jump. It's small and with the case it fits nicely on the shelf but doesn't take up room. Excited to see how the charge holds in the winter but I'm thinking of getting more of these as gifts for family.

This has to be one of the best decisions I made in purchasing this jumper. It works every time and is so easy to use. It was a gift for husband birthday and it came right on time because our car started giving us trouble and would not start at times. We plugged this up and connected to the car and the car started within seconds. Everyone needs this no need to wait for someone to come and jump you or wait for road side assistance . This is a one person job .

I have a previous version of this that I like very much. They made this version better by increasing the amperage and adding helpful notification lights and a handy carrying case. It is a lot of power in a small package. Not only is it very handy, it also gives you the ability to power/charge portable electronics. I got extras for family members to keep in their car.
