Simple and works as stated. Small and lightweight in case w\ battery jump cables , charge cord , and instructions. Had to start a 2001 6.8ltr. V10 , 1) turn unit on 2) plug in jump cables 3) connect jump cables to battery 4) start vehicle 5) disconnect battery jump cables within 30 seconds. My unit still displayed 100% charge after jump. I was a little worried about previous comments about no charger sent with unit , not a big deal . They do send a type C cable both ends , but any phone turbo charge cube with type C end will work. My unit arrived at 76% state of charge, I connected my phone charger to unit and reached full charge in 25 minutes. It provides peace of mind when traveling remotely. Jumper cables are now officially obsolete. Trying to arrange your cars head to head on the side of the highway is a thing of the past. My zero turn didn't want to start this season. It went from a pathetic winding noise to a monstrous roaring start after hooking this up. Put in your car just in case and it'll even charge your phone and other devices over USB. I should also add that I purchased 2 of these, and since I needed to re-start the zero turn mower before letting it charge the battery (not even kidding, it ran out of gas), I used the 2nd one for the 2nd start and it worked great as well, fired right up. The 1 star reviews below look like a quality control issue, just plain bad batteries. It's kind of hard for it to NOT work, it's just physics. Anyway I got 2 winners! ... show more

    • I need a more powerful avapow so I am returning the 4000A and ordering the 6000A for more power.
To jump my car it worked the first time but it didn't work the second time I don't know why I asomed not enough power? So I'm ordering the more powerful model.

    • Did not work. At all. Very disappointed.
The unit seemed nice. We read the directions, charging the unit for 3 hrs, as stated in manual. It read 100%. We tried to use it on an old car with a dead battery. Some people in the reviews here seem to have gotten this to work on a dead battery. Not us. As soon as I tried the key, nothing. The display on the unit displayed '– – –' and in the manual that can mean a number of things LOL. So we thought it might be the car so we tried jumping the car from our other car using regular jumper cables and it started right up. No clue if this product is under-powered or defective. Returning it tomorrow. Also the jumper cables on this unit are quite short — which is an issue if your car has remote battery jumper terminals like our car has.     • Does NOT come with a regular 110 charger or USB charger!!!
Does NOT come with a charger that can be plugged into a household outlet! Tried to jump my car with it once and it didn’t work Showed 100% charge. I have used other brands like this successfully but suppose it could still have been user error.
