You can set the doorbell tone to different sounds so that you know which door has been rung. It has been 4 years and 7 months since we purchased these and they are still working great with out any battery changes. Like the compact size of the receiver as it allows for both the 2nd outlet to be accessed when the receiver is plugged in. The volume settings could be more adjustable - I found it difficult to find a happy medium between too loud and not loud enough. The instructions for pairing multiple transmitters and receivers (in my case, 2 transmitters and 2 receivers) SHOULD be written better/clearer/more detailed. It was difficult to understand how to get both receivers to ring at the same time with different tones for the front door transmitter and the back door transmitter...but after some trial/ and error I finally got it programmed. Way too many weird ringtones - would prefer more normal doorbell tones to choose from but I landed on two that worked for me. So far, so good - now to see how well the transmitters hold up outside - then I can rate the "weatherproof" aspect. ... show more

Easy to install, works great. The old one that I had did not have the picture of a bell on the button, so people didn't always realize I had a doorbell. They see this one, so they actually ring it instead of knocking. I recommend it.

Our driveway is 572 ft. long. We placed one doorbell on top of the iron gate keypad People can ring that doorbell, with its unique tune, to announce their present and gate needs opened. GOOD RANGE.
