Purchased a few of these for emergency water supply during hurricane season. I am very happy with the quality, ruggedness and size of this jerrycan. I also purchased more for my boat, and this is a good size for my car if I need water on the go. I can lift and carry this 2.5 gal/10ltr size when filled (can't manage the 5 gal/20 ltr size... have to drag it around). It did not have any leaks when can was laid down flat or on its side using just my hand to tighten. Openings are easy to grip and turn. There is also a tool available if you need (optional purchase) to assist with tightening (extra confidence of no leaking with jostling or temperature changes) and loosening to remove the caps (weak or small hands). Caps have retaining attachments so they will not fall off or get lost. I especially like having two opening sizes for good control of filling and pouring. Also, the wide-mouth opening allows me to put my hand inside for a thorough cleaning. Another benefit is an optional spout is available - helps with filling other bottles, cooking pots, or washing hands or other items. No funny smells or residue (wash and air dry before first use). Very pleased and recommend.

Sturdy. Durable. Easy to Use and Handle.

I got two of these and am well pleased. It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but well worth it. The container is very sturdy and durable. I like that the opening is wide enough to be able to reach inside and give it a good scrubbing if needed. The plastic is very thick, and the handle makes it easy to carry and move about. If you open the little vent valve then there will be no glug glug glug as the water pours out, making it very predictable when pouring. I put them on the floor of my camper when traveling for storage and have not had any problems with them tipping over or leaking at all. I didn't notice any overwhelming plastic smell that others have mentioned.

Excellent design, dimensions an the faucet feature is awesome

I like the dimensions as it makes it easier than others to travel with. Hard to believe there's 5 gallons in there as it looks more like 2 1/2 gallons would fit. It's function is sitting on my counter next to the sink in my RV to wash dishes. The unique to this product feature of a faucet is great for saving water and very convenient for doing dishes when camping. I'm in the wilderness so water preservation is important. The only problem I had in not giving it 5 stars is the rubber tab on the large fill hole. It is intended (I think.) to pull open in order to allow for air to get in so that the water keeps flowing, Unfortunately the material and design is not an optimal long term solution. I placed a small piece of plastic over the hole in the cap and taped that over with gorilla tape. I just unscrew the cap a little to allow for air flow.

Very good water jug, a lot easier handle than a 5 gallon, no leaks, large opening allows you get your hand in it to clean if needed. It isn't cheap but construction is robust.
