The Machines Highly Efficient Compressor Makes The Cold Water Crisp And Ice Cold At Approximately 47° F Without The Need Of Adding Ice Cubes To Your Drink. The Hot Faucet Is Hot Enough To Cook One'S Tea Or Coffee Or Any Other Steaming Hot Beverage At Approximately 185° F. We are very impressed with the performance of this water cooler. It is very quiet although it does make a small amount of noise when dispensing water, which is understandable. It dispenses hot, cool and cold water. We only use the cool and cold options. We do not use enough hot water to warrant having it ready at all times. It is great that there is a switch on the back to turn off both the hot and cold functions. We will shut this down when we are gone on holiday. This feature is very convenient and will save money on energy costs too, without having to unplug the unit. I love that you can use from 3 to 5-gallon jugs. One day I decided to buy a water dispenser after my osmosis filter at the kitchen sink failed miserably! It was a top loader and hard to place 5 gallon jugs on top of it. But the water was filtered and tasted better than most city and mud district water. After 5 wonderful years my water dispenser started building up a metallic taste that was awful. I did my research and found the BEST 2024 water dispenser on Amazon! It is a bottom loader so no more heavy lifting 5 gallon bottles (42 lbs)! There is a tube that uses suction to pull the water up. It works extremely well. This dispenser has hot and cold temperature along with room temperature. Summer is almost here! But what really caught my eye on this product was the self cleaning feature that prevents build up and bacteria! Amazing!!! Every home should have this! Its surprisingly small; not Vern Troyer small, but small. love the bottom loading design. Cools to just a few degrees above freezing...Perfect! Makes a tiny bit of noise for a couple seconds after dispensing water but its a whisper still. Overall very happy with it. What I like most about it though is it doesn't scream cheapness like some of the stock machines of the large water companies. This is perfect, water comes out at a crisp 38 degrees from the cold side. I didn’t expect it to work this well. The hot water measured at 182 degrees. This is cheaper than some other machines and produces colder water. Definitely the best bang for your buck. The box was severely damaged by the shipping company resulting in damage to the dispenser itself which consisted of a large unsightly scratch on the front of the machine. Everything else worked fine though and we decided to live with it instead of trying to get another. Loading the new bottles is easier than the upright dispensers and takes up less space due to the compact size. It accepts any 3 or 5 gallon bottles and we actually initially used 1 gallon bottles until we got the large ones. I’ve used both culligan and primo bottles in this. Primo water seems to taste better. I had been looking at top and bottom loading water coolers for the last year to help me increase my water intake and use less space in my fridge. I kept seeing this one pop up…but, due to a couple of negative reviews, I kept passing it by. Then Amazon put it on sale and I figured if it didn’t work out, I’d return it. I’ve had numerous top-loading in the past, but it was always that couple of seconds of terror that I would mess up “the flip” that persuaded me to go with the bottom-loader. I COULD NOT be more happy with this! The water is always cold, even the room temperature water is cold…and I never knew I needed insta-hot water before, but it has been a real luxury. I have zero complaints about this. It is way quieter than I expected based on reviews (I barely even notice when it’s on), the loading process is SO EASY and great for anyone who’s getting a little older or has back issues, and the temperature of the water is perfect. One key thing to remember, when you set it up (which takes literally 2 minutes), make sure to flip the hot and cold switches on the back of the unit…took me a day to figure out this mistake 😂. ... show more

This hot/cold water dispenser works very well. The hot water is VERY HOT! So much easier to change these 5 gallon water bottles sliding under the unit rather than flipping upside down on the unit like our last water dispenser.

Overall it’s been great! Really easy to set up, based off some reviews I was worried it wouldn’t pump water up or leak or something like that but it’s been a month and has yet to show any signs of it breaking. It did come with a small dent in the side but it’s hidden by the cupboards I have it next to. The water doesn’t get super cold but still a refreshing temperature. I like the buttons up top so my kids don’t waste water and that it has a light up button for when the water jug needs to be replaced. Would buy it again! ... show more
