These racks are much heavier than I expected, and pretty beefy. Once installed, they are extremely solid. They are quite rigid, and there is no give at all. They will hold just about any load you would ever want to put on your rig. After they were mounted, we did not notice any wind noise or change in handling, even at 80mph. They cause no issue with the sunroof, and do not get in the way. The install was relatively easy, but took a little trial and error to get to fit well, and is rather precarious unless you prep really well or have a partner to assist. You can do it with one person, but two is definitely ideal. I would definitely recommend these to those interested in installing a roof rack, and I would putchase these again. In fact, I actually plan to buy another set so that I have a total of four crossbars up top and take full advantage of all that space on top of my Yukon. ... show more

I purchased these cross bars for a an upcoming trip. I was trying to get OEM but there is a shortage of them nationwide. These seem very sturdy and built similar to OEM. They are a mix of high strength aluminum and steel. They are heavy and rugged, which is a good thing. I did have an issue, one of the locks fell out and when I was finally able to get it back into place, the key would not work. Thankfully I’m familiar with locking mechanisms so I disassemble it and was able to get it working again. Other than the lock, the rails seem good quality, the clamps bite on to the car and they feel firm and secure. Hope they hold up! ... show more
