The first thing I tried to use this steam cleaner for was maintenance/cleaning of my wood porch. Now it DID seem to pull up a significant amount of grime, as I had to use a hose to rinse it off. But overall it didn't quite give the same effect as a power washer. But apparently that's not the kind of thing a steam cleaner can effectively do. (Just as a heads up for anyone who's as unaware as I was--never too old to learn!) It really kicked butt on some other projects. A white pair of running shoes look good as new, two stains on the carpet are completely gone, and some patio furniture looks good as new. The wide range of temp settings are very handy to have depending on what you're working on. Lower for the shoes and carpet, a little higher for the furniture. The ONLY thing to be aware of--the cleaned spots on the carpet looked visibly cleaner than the rest of the carpet (a "clean spot" if you will) so I had to use our carpet cleaner to even the rest out. I really like the color and the design of the steamer. The handle and extension piece is helpful in preventing getting burned from the steam and to clean hard to reach places. I like that you can use a diluted detergent to clean with. If you enjoy extreme cleaning, you’ll be pleased with their cleaner. It had a pressure dial that increases the water that comes out but if you keep it at a moderate level the water last quite a while in the reservoir. This is really easy to use but should be used with caution because of the steam buildup. If following the directions, you shouldn’t have any problems. Once you start using this handy little machine, you will WANT to find things for it to clean! I used it for two applications so far: to clean jewelry, and to get the gunk off of my kitchen ceiling near my oven. For the jewelry, it worked amazingly well. The gloves come in handy, because you are dealing with hot steam, and the nozzle I found to be perfectly sized for the job of cleaning gunk off the inside of old rings. I tried it on my ceiling and yes it worked there too. I also used it on my metal kitchen hood and it was great. It's lightweight even with water inside, and has a handy handle for carrying around. One thing I wish it had was a control handle on the hose nozzle itself, so you can shut off just when you want to be done. As is, you have to switch off the steam action from the body of the machine. Steamer is lightweight even with the water added into it. The handle is a nice plus that so far I haven't spilled any water carrying it from it. It does take a bit to start up so it spits water normally at first for a couple of seconds then the steam will come out. It helped removed some stuck reside on the tile and my rug in the bedroom. Plenty of little attachments like a metal brush and plastic for other things you may need. The longer metal piece to get into small crevices is my favorite. The power cable is a bit small which is probably my biggest complaint on this machine but a extension cord and you're set. Totally worth the buy for once a month steaming stains or so. ... show more

The gloves they give you with the steamer do not cut it ...The steamer gets very hot , and will burn you right through the gloves 🧤 So do yourself a favor and upgrade to a good pair of leather or industrial gloves ...Other then that it’s performed perfect and does a wonderful job in short order

I found the nylon brushes weren't stiff enough, but removing the brush allowed a stream of steam to clean my grout. UT is time intensive to do this but it takes time to emulsify all the garbage in the grout. Hose and plug are kind of short but it worked great for.my shower project I bought it for.

I used this on the tile on my 4 showers and it worked great! They now all look like new. Next I will use it on the tiles in the kitchen and I expect it to do just as well there.
