I recently obtained the AUVON Extended Bed Rails for Elderly Adults, and I’m really impressed with how well it works. Initially, I got it to keep my foam air mattress from slipping off the edge of the bed, and it definitely did the trick. The bed rail is solid and sturdy, supporting my weight with ease. But to my surprise, it has also made getting out of bed much easier! The soft hand grip on the rail provides excellent support, and now I can pull myself up and out of bed much more comfortably compared to before. One of my favorite features is the six storage pouches. It's great to have a spot for my tablet so I can read at night without having to get up. As for assembly, be sure to follow the directions carefully—at first, I thought I made a mistake, but after reading through the instructions, I realized it was my own oversight. I also decided to switch the handrail around so the larger bags face inside the bed instead of outside, which works better for my setup. Overall, I’m really glad I bought this bed rail. It’s been a practical addition to my bedroom, not only providing stability but also improving my ability to get in and out of bed with ease. I highly recommend it!

This is exactly what I needed after spinal fusion surgery to help me get in and out of bed and to protect from falling out of bed. It was easy to put together and install. Just make sure you have the pocket installed facing the direction you want it. I wanted mine facing in towards the bed so I could reach my phone etc. while I was lying down. You can install it either facing in or facing out. The bar is sturdy and securely bears my entire weight as I pull myself up to get out of bed. Good value.

I got this for my mom, she has been struggling a bit to get on and off her bed lately. It takes some getting used to and some trial and error to find the best way for you to use it effectively but it definitely helps. Sturdy and easy to put on. Shorter length than others but I prefer that since she doesn't need to scoot down as much.

I ordered this for my uncle that is staying with us while recovering from back surgery. He is 6'0" and weighs 190 lbs, and this rail is sturdy enough for him to lean on while getting in and out of bed. The pockets are handy to hold his phone, tissues, a bottle of water and whatever else he needs, which is so useful as the bed does not have a nightstand. The bed rail is on the smaller size, so if you need this to prevent someone from falling out of bed this might not be the one for you. But as a tool to assist with getting in and out of bed this is perfect.

My 83 yr old dad is coming for Christmas and we're setting up a bed in our office for him. He's in pretty good shape for his age and tall so I wanted something for assistance and also as a guard against falling out. This was super easy to put together and extremely sturdy. My kids have already grabbed and pulled on it with their full weight. They're wanting one for their own beds thanks to the water bottle and tablet storage. It was easy to put together with clear instructions. Super happy with this bed rail and recommend it!

My wife broke her arm at the base of the shoulder ball joint almost three months ago. It has been a long recovery with her having to sleep in a recliner since she cannot get in and out of bed. She is now doing physical therapy and is ready to try getting back into bed. We have had a version of this this bed rail installed for a few years to help her get up and back in the night, but without the storage bag. In experimenting with her needs, it became apparent that she would need a second secure handhold to make a return to the bed possible in the near future. This bed rail is as sturdy a product as the one she has been using for four years, with the additional feature of a storage place for her glasses, kindle, flashlight and other items she would otherwise not be able to access since she will not be able to roll over to place and retrieve items from her bedside nightstand until her arm is healed.

An excellent bed rail that's of high quality metal along with rubber-like padding in areas that count! What I like also is this railing doesn't take a lot of space if one's preference is not to be too encumbered with such an item attached to your bed. Very easy to assemble and set up. Works beautifully either with a standard bed as well as an electric driven bed thanks to both design as well as the included cynch that one attaches to the bed frame and to the products metal underneath the bed. Padding for gripping the railing is quite nice as well as padding on metal bars under the mattress that helps keeping this railing shifting easily. Highly recommend!

I am 4 days post op from major surgery and my husband was able to install this with small difficulty. It is very secure as it straps across under the mattress. I do wish it stuck out a little less but been a lifesaver for getting in and out of bed. Very sturdy
