The media could not be loaded. Had a vehicle sitting for 3 months, started immediately once I turned on the pack, but this pack is really good!! Comes with a charger, and a quick guide to let you know on how to correctly use it! I would highley recommend especially to someone who would be in an emergency and immediately needs to get up and running.

First off I have never had one of these. I had heard of them and was told they work well. I get this one and immediately I notice this thing is boxed up really nice like a good valuable item. Second thing I noticed was it is extremely light weight. And I do mean very light like a kids toy. The plastic the case is made of has a toy like feel to it as well. The on off switch feels very cheap too. It is actually loose and will rattle if you shake the unit. and just gives me the feeling its not durable and will probably break. As for the functionality it works. I bought a old used riding mower and it jumped it off 3 times so far on the factory charge. The compass is extremely small and to me useless. The flashlight was ok also but its really only good up close like to read something. Over all the unit works so I cant argue with that. That is what it was designed to do. Even the tiny and I do mean tiny compass works as does the flashlight. So I give it high marks for that. My biggest complaint is how cheap it feels. I just don't get that confident feeling that if I have this in my glovebox it will 100% work when I need it. I'm not saying it wont work as only time will tell but currently it doesn't give me that confidence.

I'm a Mechanic and my first impression upon opening the box was NO WAY is this little thing going to jump start a car. So, I purposely drained my cars battery by leaving the headlights on. The starter only made a click when I turned the key. I connected the little device up and to my surprise the car cranked right up. So, I tried it again knowing that the battery was still dead and again it started the car. OK I'M SOLD. I also like that it can be used as a flashlight, As a power source to charge your cell phone, as a power source to run a USB battery charger o charge batteries when I go camping, and for multiple other reasons that require a USB powered battery source. Definitely Recommend.
