Use this when gone and it's worked well. I found it very easy to setup but you do have to do a couple of tests to see how long you want it to run. You can set the run time and how often it goes off ie: daily, every other day, etc. it's kept my plants going when I'm gone for 2 or 3 week. No long have to find someone to come and water. Great little product.

Great price for keeping my plants alive, while I am out of town! Set up is simple, but takes a bit to determine the water flow setting for each plant. After figuring out that part, it’s a “piece of cake”! While set up, you may also choose manual, which waters them at that time. The device keeps the memory of what you set up, even after you turn it off, until you change the setting. Which is a plus! When I am in town, I take care of my plants. My personal opinion, is that this is perfect for occasional watering of plants.

My plants are dying. I even controlled the drip to make it as little as possible. I water every three days under 80 seconds. The drip control doesn't work.

At first two of the three I purchased worked. When one failed to fire at the start, I returned it for a replacement. Thought I was all good with three working. Just returned from a trip to dead plants. Had just installed fresh batteries and filled water containers before I left, plus tested them and they were working. Still plenty of water in the containers and tried another set of fresh batteries but they only push enough water to get to some of the plants. I should of stuck with a stronger (more expensive) pump, but these got good reviews. Never again.

Fittings work well, easy to secure to hose and don't leak. Nozzles spray a quality mist very evenly. Hose is somewhat rigid but not too rigid to not be workable.

Pros: • Complete with all specialized components • Easy programming • Supports up to 10 plants Cons: • Hard Initial setup • Need more PVC hose The Good: This kit includes everything needed to set up an automated watering system except batteries and a water reservoir. Daltaili generously includes ten watering "drip arrows," so the kit can water up to 10 plants. The programming for the pump host is relatively easy. The blue backlit LCD has a large numeric readout and three buttons to program the functions. The English full-color instructional brochure is well-written. It contains clear, detailed pictures of the components of the installation steps. Several diagrams show the programming instructions, overall water connections, and parts complement. I found the general setup to be relatively easy. The Not-So-Good: Long initial setup time. Unfortunately, you will most likely be disappointed if you plan to purchase this irrigation unit on a Friday and expect to use it while on vacation starting on Saturday. This system takes a bit of trial and error to get the correct watering. This is especially true if you have various-sized plants whose water requirements differ. The "drip arrows" have individually adjustable flow controls to set the flow rates for each plant. Our first try: I tried to take a scientific method to set the initial watering. Then, I installed new batteries, manually set the pump on, and measured the time it took to pump 1 quart of water. My result was about 1:20 seconds with a single drip arrow at maximum output. Since this was my first baseline measurement, I could assume a little more than a quart every 1.5 minutes. My GF estimated that some of her largest plants took about a quart a week and about a pint for the smaller ones, so figuring up a total of 2 large plants(1 quart each x 2) and four smaller ones( 1 pint x 4) for a combined amount of 4 quarts or about 2.6 minutes (4 quarts /1.5 q/min). The Host only allows full minutes past 99 seconds, so we chose 3 minutes. The flow rate will be lower when using the USB for power, as the USB voltage is 5 volts and the battery voltage is 6 volts. Despite this "scientific method," it still took a few weeks to fine-tune the watering. I see this as an issue with any automatic watering system, not just this one. Final Thoughts: We like this automatic watering system. We ordered it for weekly attended irrigation and vacation watering; it does these tasks well. It saves a little time each week for general watering and shines when we are on vacation.
