Vice comes well packaged and protected. Its quite heavy and is nicely finished with good paint coverage and all bare metal parts well oiled with no rust. A good sturdy vice is a big plus in a well equiped home shop. This model has good flat jaws as well as pipe/round stock jaws that u can rotate to any desired angle. The Vice appears to be well made. The finish is nicely applied. I’ve read horror stories about vices breaking at the jaws and I am glad to know this vise is made with ductile steel instead of regular cast iron or cast steel. I purchased the rubber jaw protectors right after receiving my Vice and everything together works great at protecting whatever is clamped in the Vice. I am definitely happy with this purchase. It’s bigger than I thought it was going to be which is great. I’d definitely recommend this vise. Also there isn’t a lot of slop or play in any of the movable parts.
