They work and get the job done. However, be mentally prepared to replace them every year because they WILL leak with time and rinsing them out daily. Just a fact of like, they wont hold up to extremes and for long periods. I don't mind buying one every year. Actually, I buy two every year for our farm. I don't use the junk cleaning tool they send, I just use my hand and rise/wipe it daily, it's actually easier.

This water bowl is designed for outdoor use. It needs to be attached to an outside faucet or hose hook-up. it comes with the hosing, faucet ring for attachment, and sealing thread. Simply attache the hosing to the faucet and the other end to the bowl, and voila', the bowl is ready for use! The most useful part of the bowl is that is is self-filling. This means no more checking the bowl throughout the day to make sure your dog/pets have water! As the water level drops, the filling mechanism senses this and allows the water to be refilled! The bowl also can be attached to a wall or a ledge, but is completely fine sitting on the ground as well. The bowl isn't metal like most. It's made of a hard, durable plastic material that is somewhat heavy to keep it from blowing across the ground. like that the bowl doesn't get "slimy" inside, but it also comes with a cleaning brush for easy cleaning.
