I've been wanting an automatic door since I got my chickens but the price was too high but this one cost me $33. My coop does not have direct access to the sun so in order for it to work at the right time I have a led light over the light sensor that is on a timer to make sure all my chicken are inside the coop before the door closes. It's all plastic so only time will tell how long it will last and hopefully be strong enough to keep animals out.
