I live in Florida so we get plenty of sunlight and the chickens went into the coop each night as they usually do and the coop closed about 20-40 mins after they went in! Installed on Tractor Supply coop, had to make a little plywood plate to mount it to. The door is definitely not to scale with the chicken in the picture, but our fully grown hens have no issues going in and out. The solar function for auto open/close is great as well, no issues with it thus far!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this door and the motor is not able to open or close the door correctly. It continuously gets stuck on the track. I’ve tried loosening where the track is screwed into the wall, doesn’t matter. It’s a motor strength issue. So I ordered a replacement and the replacement is doing the exact same thing. Absolute junk

The media could not be loaded. Now that winters here I was getting worried about temps in the coop. There's no electricity out there so this solar recharging is a lifesaver. I haven't got to fully install yet, but I did set the unit outside for about 18 hours overnight with the solar panel and it's charged up perfectly. The open in close is smooth and the roll up door style saves space. The "anti-pinch" seems to work fine, the door stops closing, reopens fully, then attempts to close again. There is a lengthy cord connecting the solar panel allowing for rooftop flexible mounting, and hardware is included. There is also a template for cutting the opening which is anither frustration saver. I had to get a few supplies to seal other openings then the new door going in this weekend, just in time for January cold spells.
