It has been about three weeks and no issues. I was nervous about this purchase, as there are no reviews. I have been going out and opening/closing the coop door for over 2 years. This is a great idea for my chicken coop. I feared it would close too soon and leave a few chickens locked out so I still check it each night and don’t know if I can ever trust it 100%. It does take a few days for chickens to get used to the automatic closing of the door, but they will get it. So far my chickens have not been locked out. The door is made of aluminium and steel and has excellent construction. If this continues to work, it will be a great door at a very affordable price.
