The media could not be loaded. Applying this vinyl to a vertical surface is a bit more challenging, but the absolute easiest method is to lightly spray Windex on your surface first. This allows you to position it perfectly and use a squeegee or plastic scraper to remove bubbles and smooth it into place. As the Windex dries, the vinyl sticks. Super easy on flat surfaces. For curved or detailed surfaces, watch YouTube videos of auto vinyl application and this will help you understand the product. This is removable and repositionable, but using a heat gun or hair dryer will adhere it more strongly to your surface, possibly requiring you to use heat to remove the film from your surface at a later date. We used the silver and white wood grain on some cabinets, and are floored by the quality. It looks incredibly high end, and because the pattern is embossed in the vinyl, it feels and appears like real wood grain. It is a soft, warm white with a matte finish and a soft metallic grain. I've posted pics of our bright white cabinets side by side with the white/silver metallic vinyl. The matte finish makes it look like authentic wood. Very impressive! ... show more

Our pantry shelves were getting so beat up but I didn't want any cheesy looking liners. I LOVE this one! It was easy to cut and put in. It comes back up if you need to readjust. It looked so pretty when finished!

I bought three rolls of this to cover my table. I'm using it as a backdrop for photographing clothes for my business. The white wood grain is beautiful! The "grain" silver and reflects the light when directly above it, but it has a nice, natural white wood look - almost shabby chic. The rolls did look creased like someone has said before, but once you stick it down and smooth it out, it's as flat as the surface you laid it over. The rolls were very easy to use. The first roll I followed the directions exactly and it was simple. The second and third roll I did a bit differently. I laid out the roll next to the paper already on the table to make sure I like how the lines match up. Next, I cut about half an inch of the paper backing next to the edge that will lay next to to the paper already on the table but I kept it attached to the sticky paper. I cut that half inch strip into approximately 6 inch strips, still keeping them attached. I removed the center backing off the strip and lines that up. Working from the center, I follow the directions on how to lay the paper while making sure my edges are touching. Once I completed both sides, I did the same for the rest of the paper - working from the center out because it was easier to release any trapped air. This stuff is very easy to clean too. I put this paper on my dining table and it's so easy to clean up any spilled food. I highly recommend this. It's beautiful, good price and can change the look of your furniture. Notes: your surface must be flat and not textured because the texture will show through. It is good on straight surfaces but it doesn't curve and stick well (see the last picture I posted and that's wrapped around the top of the table). ... show more

This says it's 15.8" wide, but once you take it off the backing it's only 15.5". Had it been 15.8" the dimensions would have worked well for my project, but missing a quarter inch on each strip meant I was short. The cutting lines are useless unless you only need to cut in 4" increments or get very lucky in having the intermittent more closely spaced lines end up where you need them (I didn't for any of several cuts). The factory cuts are not straight or even so you lose time and material squaring it up (especially since you need to draw your own lines to do so). It's thick, but adhesion seems similar to dollar store shelf liner paper - no stickier than that -which means it will be more suitable for some projects and surfaces than others. The finish feels more papery than other products I've used so time will tell how it holds up to use. I would not use this product again. ETA: a few days after applying it, it's getting ridge-like bubbles. Similar bubbles formed during installation, but were easily smoothed out. Seems like the material wants to go back to its rolled-up shape. This puts it solidly in the one star category for me. ETA: a couple months after applying it, it has ripped in an area where other objects occasionally contact it. It has been handled carefully, but is brittle and fragile. I'll have to take it all off and find a new solution. This is a zero star product. ... show more

Really nice and thick vinyl. Pretty easy to work with, but when using a heat gun to help fold over any uneven edges, don't apply heat for too long or else you will lose the texture. I really like how it looks, however.. There is a big problem with color quality. I thought I only needed one, but then realized that I needed to order one more (and I ordered one extra roll for another project). The two rolls I got on my second order were completely off color! (See photos) I requested a replacement. The replacement roll color looked the same, but once I put it up, you can clearly see that too was off color. I wasted a whole extra roll having to go back redo some of the back panels to make it 'look' like it matches. So a project that only needed two rolls cost me three because of improper manufacturing. Buy it if you know if you are only going to need what comes on a single roll. Don't count on them matching if you need more than one. ... show more
