I got this auto chicken door for my outdoor chicken coop. Love that it runs on solar power. Was super easy to install and quite easy to program. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Took me about 10 mins to get it installed and programmed. Runs nicely with no issues. Door opening is a nice size and chickens fit thru without issue. Highly recommend. Looks great and nicely made. I would buy again if needed.

This coop door is solid. It feels heavy duty and not cheap at all. I fully charged it with the AC adapter first, then switched it to solar, and it’s been running great ever since. I like that I don’t have to rely only on the sun, but the solar has kept up just fine. The LCD screen is easy to understand, and switching between light sensor or timer is quick. I feel way better knowing the anti-pinch feature is there since my hens and chicks are always hanging out right by the door. It opens and closes smoothly every day, and I haven’t had to mess with it once since I installed it. Definitely one of those set it and forget it things, which I love.

This is a great product. I have had this for sometime now, and I have discovered that the door needs to be lubricated and cleaned at times due dust build up. Also I have found that the power supply for the unit is in a very bad location, my girls find a way to unplug it and the unit will not operate. Also, the timer can be a little tricky to set. overall works pretty good.

Solar panel is no longer charging unit so I am having to manually open and close it, which is very difficult. Either that, or the battery has failed. I bought it in June 2025 and it stopped working mid-November 2025. Unrelated, but something else I don't like back when it was working... when you press the "down" or "close" button it closes all the way, then goes half-way back up again, then closes. I don't see a good reason for it to do that.

Great chicken door! Very easy to set up and install. It opens every morning with the sun and closes every night with the sunset. It is sturdy and will open back up if it closes on a chicken. It does what it is supposed to do and keeps my chickens safe.
