This door was working good for two days. I went out tonight to check and make sure all the chicks were in the coop and I found one with its head suck under the door with the door on top of it. Had to force it open luckily the chicken is ok but the door won’t close or open any more. So much for the anti pinch.

I bought this as a gift for the guy who gave me my chickens. I had bought another one that's basically the same thing, and this style works great. It can open and close at a set time, or you can make it run on a dusk to dawn basis. It was really easy to install, and it hasn't shown less than a full charge yet due to its solar panel. The door is definitely not letting any predators in. It's a game changer if you're used to manually closing up your chickens every night.

door worked great until we had a sever thunderstorm and the solar panel quit charging. Door would still work, but I had to take battery packs out to recharge it. When door got below 50% charge, it had trouble opening or closing fully.
