Mounted in the boat to trickle charge 2 different sized marine batteries I haven't needed to jump the boat since. Seemed that the batteries were always going dead while sitting even when the master switch was turned off, now even with my older batteries I am good to go. Hopeful that it lasts as I mounted it next to the switch inside the boat, kept on the water. Planning on adding a covered outlet housing for a neater connection to the landline cord. ... show more

Seems to work great I've used it on two different batteries now. One was a completely dead car battery that I didn't think could be resurrected. The vehicle just sits for months at a time, and the unit brought it back to life. The battery had a full charge within 2 days. Receive my marine charger today. However, reading the instruction manual it says, do not use the charger outdoors, in damp or wet places. Do not use in the vicinity of flammable liquids. Also says do not use inside vehicle or engine compartment. The laughable part says, "the charger is perfect for automobile, motorcycle and and marine WORKSHOPS". WHAT!! So the advertising for the product is wrong. 'Marine batteries', are made to function outdoors, in wet damp, somewhat enclosed areas. Oftentimes in an engine compartment and or near flammable liquids. So I will most likely send this back and get a 2bank genius MARINE CHARGER. Waste of my time. ... show more
