    • A little hard to figure out but does what is says it does.
Bought this initially to program smart keys for a 2019 Nissan LEAF. A lack of detailed written instructions stopped me from giving this 5 stars. Setting it up for the first time was time consuming - you first have to create an account with Autel that includes a 3 step authentication, then I don't know if I had old stock (it was shipped from Amazon), but both the tablet and the dongle needed firmware, OS and multiple app updates before I could start. I guess a seasoned mechanic would've breezed through the fob programming, but I was confused which app to use and although the tablet prompted you what to do each step of the way, I made a few mistakes and had to start over a couple of times. Now that it's clear to me what to do, pretty sure the next time would be a breeze. I don't believe the intended purchaser is a novice DIY backyard mechanic. I'm in an extremely rural area and the only place what would do this for me is a Nissan dealer 90 miles away. The LEAF only has a 150-mile range between charges, so this saved me a day trip and pretty much almost paid for itself. EDIT - the seller emailed me a detailed Owner's Manual via PDF.
