Fits as it should. Seems functional but took me a few.minutes to figure out. Once hooked up, I had full ability and it was easy to use. Opened up all he features of you scanner. Glad these are available from good companies that make reliable stuff like Autel.

The small plug is not right. Will be returning it. I wish it was correct. It’s very well made. Might order a replacement to see it it was just a mistake being made.

This is one of those tools you don’t use every day, but when you need it, you really need it. I haven’t had a chance to use it on a vehicle yet, but I did test the fit and build quality. The OBD2 connector plugs in solidly with no looseness, and overall the cable feels decent—not overly cheap or flimsy like some generic adapters. The SGW bypass connector looks like it should do exactly what it’s intended for when paired with a compatible scan tool. If you’re working on newer Dodge/Ram trucks that require a security gateway bypass, this is a necessary piece of the puzzle. The only thing I’d change is the length of the smaller bypass cable. It’s a bit on the short side, which might make routing or positioning slightly awkward depending on where the connector is located in the vehicle. That said, it doesn’t seem so short that it would prevent it from working—it just could use a little extra length for convenience. Overall, it appears to be a straightforward, purpose-built adapter that should do the job. I’ll update this review once I’ve had a chance to use it in a real diagnostic situation.

Nice adaptor, unmarked brand, but so far it works. The adapter bypasses the ECU security to allow to do do more in-depth troubleshooting and if you have the right hardware you can change certain parameters on diesel vehicles. The connectivity is a breeze, just plug it in and that’s it. Good buy for the price.

I bought this for a 2019 RAM diesel when I needed to get my scanner talking to the truck without fighting the security gateway, and it did what I needed. The cable feels well made with thicker insulation than some generic adapters I have used before, and the connectors fit snugly without feeling loose. Once I located the right connection points under the dash, setup was pretty straightforward. This is definitely more of a garage tool than something for a casual driver, but for basic diagnostics and maintenance checks it was useful to keep in the toolbox. Data connection seemed stable and I did not have issues with random dropouts while reading codes. The one drawback is that compatibility really matters here, so you need to double check the exact truck year and scanner support before ordering. For the right setup, it saves some frustration.
