It does what it’s designed to do. I have a security camera and tuner that need to be plugged in all the time to the OBD port and this allows them to both be plugged in and operate at the same time.

I have a 2010 Toyota Camry and I've been using a T-Mobile Sync-Up Drive device that has been plugged into my car's OBD2 port for a while. The T-Mobile device provides info about my car/allows me to track my car if it gets stolen/etc. I recently signed up with Progressive for my auto insurance and I opted into their Snapshot program to get a discount. They will give you a discount off your insurance policy if you plug their OBD2 device into your car and allow it to monitor your driving. So I now have two OBD2 devices but only one OBD2 port in my car so that's where this product comes in. It's easy to install and use, build quality seems fine and it fits fine into my car. Connecting it is easy enough and now I just need to see how well it works. I'm not sure how well my two devices will work while plugged into the same OBD2 port using this splitter. I have seen some conflicting reports online about devices sending a signal into the car using a splitter like this where the car can only receive one signal at a time, so if two devices are plugged into a splitter and trying to communicate with your car at the same time then you might have issues. I'll update this review if I notice issues. Price is reasonable and connectivity works if your devices support a splitter like this product.

This cable splitter became available at just the right time. I just bought an Autel diagnostic 'scanner / tool' for a DIY maintenance project for my two vehicles to specifically determine and then adjust the Steering Angle Zero Calibration. To reset the Zero Calibration, there is a simple process to short two pins on the OBD2 connector under the dash for which I made my own plug-tool to short those pins wired to a momentary switch. However, it is cumbersome to plug in the scanner, find the setting, unplug it and replace it with the shorting plug for the procedure. Then repeat to confirm or fine tune. With this splitter cable, I can leave the scanner and shorting plug connected at the same time. Especially helpful when I test drive the vehicle(s) around the neighborhood to monitor the angle setting and stop to fine tune if needed. When I'm done with my car's I'll move on to the family's. Quality plugs, sufficient cable lengths.

This project does not work for running two devices at one time I had my Eld for Logs and my steps connected and only one device works so if you’re looking for this and your truck driver or a hot shot, this does not work for two devices

My only small issue is that they are heavy and you need to secure it to the oBD2 port with clips for the heavy callers so it doesn't fall out when driving. Wish it came with something like that.

This item shipped and arrived fast. This Aultel OBD2 Y splitter adapter is very well made and will work with most if not all, Aultel scanners that use a cable hook up to the ADL. The adapters ends fit on the ADL and scanner cable with a secure hold. Connectivity and using this item is very easy to do and it is functional. This cable may work with other scanners and Bluetooth dongles due to it just being a common Y splitter with no proprietary clips or ends but I have not tried this. The cost of this cable was fair. I rated this item 5 stars.
