I did a lot of research and feel this is widely held as the best all around professional tool for professional use when you want to invest in a single unit or are starting with your first of several diagnostic system tools you intend to purchase. It is an investment and a tool at this price range should be considered that. While I'm still learning the many capabilities of this tool, I am very satisfied with my purchase from Autel Store. I was concerned purchasing this from a company outside of North America. I wanted this to work with FCA AutoAuth and have a warranty that I could take advantage of in the US. I contacted Autel Tools in the US a number of times to discuss my concerns with a lot of their people. Autel Store was extremely pleasant to deal with and helpful as the seller and guaranteed me it would work, even though the unit was not a North American serial numbered unit and has global software, according to Autel Tools North America. It ABSOLUTELY registered and worked with FCA AutoAuth and I tested it on a 2018 Jeep Compass and 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee plus my ALLDATA professional subscription. Autel Tools did tell me that the built-in repair guide that was provided through an agreement with MOTOR no longer worked with any of their tools and they're looking for a new service to have built into the tool, however, I could set up a quick link to my ALLDATA account using the quick links app on the home screen or access ALLDATA through the built-in Chrome web browser, like I had been doing. Lots of built-in features plus additional accessories available that makes the MaxiSys Ultra diagnostic system a great deal! I highly recommend it and I highly recommend buying from Autel Store for a big discount and a very satisfying after sale experience.

Very happy with it, plugged it into a few vehicles just to test it out, and now I have since used it to program a new BCM (Body Control Module) in a Ford F250, which the programming capabilities is mostly the reason I wanted it. Only thing that took a little getting used to is the navigation of the system (my other enhanced scan tool is a Snapon unit so I'm used to there navigation) luckily I'm pretty tech savvy however so it was a pretty quick learning curve. Definitely recommend 👍

I had a BMW in the shop with a bad transmission and gearbox, after replacing both, BMW dealer says they can not reprogram it, I bought the scanner and did it myself in 15 minutes. I’ve been using it everyday for diagnostics instead of using snapon scanner.
