Being a master tech both car an truck and L1, I enjoy this needed tool in today's diagnostic field, and a tech since 1981.I is a bit big but you easily get useto it an I was really surprised as to battery life as well as its abilities..I had a maxisys 908 pro for many years an this one is my fav to date. LOOK UPDATE 15 MONTHS LATER…after a year was working fine, shortly after the touch function on the screen stopped and this was just outside the tools warrenty. Now I have a high dollar tool I can not do anything with except charge it…The seller tried to hook me up with Autel but it just went round an round with no help other than a response from both. I was hoping customer service or seller would have helped and worked with me. I have 4 other Autel tools which hold up fine. I am beginning to believe the tool can’t hold up to professional use a the price perhaps not worth the head ache on no tool as well as the bite out of your wallet. Not a happy camper..an since in the field will be talking a lot. UPDATE. The team at Autel helped me out and was very pleasant to deal with. They corrected my issue..once again Happy camper..They were great, the Autel team, I thank you.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this obdii diagnostic scanner based on the recommendation of another technician. It is a very powerful platform that can load all the necessary content for diagnosing and repairing a vehicle, if you know what you are doing. It is loaded with a lot of functions, bi-directional controls, and even flash programming features. It is a strong competitor to the Launch scanner, and I own both brands. ULTRA can do some things that Launch cannot and vice versa. There is no one scanner that can do it all. I recommend this product to anyone looking for an excellent diagnostic/oscilloscope platform and does not want to pay over $6,000 for Launch

the item when functioning was great, i purchased this in dec of 2023, i also purchased the 4 year extended asurion plan, but as of last week i have contacted the sellers tech service with over a week of waiting with no responce or urgency of this concern, this tool is being used for an automotive repair facility and down time hurts finances as all should agree, the problem i am having after a year and a half is the touch screen on tablit quit working and what i have found doing my own troubleshooting is the digitizer is bad and is a replaceable part, also found tablet works with an external mouse which is not efficiant when you pay out this kind money for a important tool

I bought it to replace my MS909 because I need the OSCILLOSCOPE. The main tablet is big, and works fast for my Mercedes. The package comes with all accessories I need for electronic testing. easily check Live Data and codes, the topology function, which I used every time, simplified my checking process. I tried bi-directional control on window and roof, super convenient! my cousin borrowed it for his Ford after battery changed, we are now working on Programmable Module Installation, highly recommend it to professionals.

Good: Touchscreen is super large. Easy to read outside in daylight. Battery Life good. Accessories are wonderful such as test leads, back probes, alligator clips... Software covers most of the vehicles around the world. A huge upgrade coming from the MS906 series. Not good: expensive but worth it actually.:)

I like the scan tool, I don’t like the scan tool, I love it, I hate it. It’s 50/50 for me, as an owner of the earlier versions I think the earlier versions were (are) faster and the battery in my oldest Autel has never needed to be replaced but this ultra needs a battery and I felt like it was going out after a years use because it would need to be put on the charger after only an hour of use. The tool needed an update before I was able to even use it on all of the cars it’s capable of scanning. Now I can’t use it on 2023 year models even though it’s not that old. On the plus side have used the programmer several times and it’s saved me a lot of money by not paying someone else to do it for me. I’ve changed abs modules, steering gears on fords, tipm modules on Chryslers, GM transmissions, ford electric racks that you need to download from the original and zap the new unit with it. I like the features it has and I’m happy I bought it, but I think the less expensive versions could have suited my needs just as easy because I already had a scope so I didn’t need another and I haven’t even used the scope on this unit. So I’m happy I did and sorry I did buy it and my last gripe is why are the updates $1800?? Who can afford that after spending $5000 on it in the first place??
