We got the Autel MaxiSYS MS908CV II for our fleet and it’s been awesome so far. I wasn’t expecting it to do this much. Injector coding, active tests, full ECU scanning, it handles everything without slowing down. we have used it on regular buses, hybrid, buses, and some special purpose vehicles, and it has worked every time. It covers all the vehicles in our fleet, including Volvo, MAN, Iveco, Renault, and newer Mercedes trucks. Reading and clearing codes is quick and the live data really helps us spot issues right away. The J2534 programming works great for our new Volvos and updates come regularly so everything stays current. We managed over 40 vehicles from light vans to class 8 trucks and this scanner handles them all. It is fast, smart, and really reliable. I manage a local commercial fleet and bought the Autel MS908CV II to cut down on outside diagnostics and keep trucks from sitting. After some real use, it's become part of our normal maintenance routine. We run mostly Freightliner, International, and Volvo, and it handles full system diagnostics without any issues. Engine, ABS, brakes, and aftertreatment data all come through clearly. We've checked DPF load and run regens when needed, which helped keep trucks moving instead of dealing with derate or roadside problems. After a DEF refill, we also cleared a urea fault and checked the system in a few minutes without sending the truck to a shop. It's easy to use, the screen is big, and it's quick enough that our techs were comfortable with it right away. We're sending fewer trucks out for repairs now, which has helped a lot with both time and costs. Had one small issue and Autel support handled it without hassle. I’ve been a heavy truck mechanic for years and now I run my own shop. When I was booking the MS908CV II, my new lead tech really wanted it, but I wasn’t sure since other brands looked cheaper. In the end, I let him pick and I’m glad I did. This tour works great. The interface is killing and easy to use, the messages written in plain, clear language, and all the functions performed really well. Adjusting speed and a power on Cummins engines went smoothly every time. The DPF regen feature is visual and easy to understand, which makes it simple to figure out what’s going on when something fail. Good tools make the job easier and put you in a better mood. My tech was right about that. I always look for good value, but quality matters more to me.The MS908CV II is worth the money, and I’d definitely recommend it. ... show more

    • Does not reset Isuzu NPR nox sensors.
great scanner, wish it could reset nox sensors and program injectors for isuzu. The buttons are there but i cant get them to work.

This diagnostic tool is very good for performing the most diverse tests and reset and programming procedures on the trucks I work on, I have had excellent experiences with it!

It looks like it does everything in the description however is does no more than a $50 code reader. The vin numbers come up with with the wrong type of engine. The support is useless. There is no manual. It wont even reset the oil change message. The complaint form to sort these things out does not work and will not let you submit it. The software update is $1299. There are no functional tests for most engines and systems.The on-screen keyboard wont get out of the way and backspace wipes out what you are typing. Customer service is useless. I have an old snap on and it runs rings around this expensive paper weight. ... show more
