This tool is very powerful and it has a great workflow to it. I have just barely scratched the surface of what it can do but I look forward to helping my friends and family out with their car related issues. I can bleed ABS systems, code batteries, etc. About Autel's customer service: I reached out to them after paying $929 for the bundle I bought and the next day it dropped down to $798.65. They responded to my inquiry the next day and immediately credited back the difference. I cannot think but this is the way business should be run and as such, they have earned referrals from me for their products moving forward. No question, that kind of support is hard to come by and I thank them very much for tending to this even though they did not have to. That is character if you ask me.

I bought this unit during the prime days and it was a very smooth purchase from Amazon, Autel Official/ Autel Direct. I bought the unit so can service my Porsche cars. I don't have any experience in using diag/scan tools and this was very easy to use and figure out. The menus are very user friendly and resetting my oil service light on my Porsche Macan was fast and easy. I did not have to put in any date and the MAXI PRO Mp900-BT system did that on it's own. Although the unit will require an update on the system OS, VCI(BT device) and car application before you use it. In order to update the software, you will have to register the unit first with Autel. Instructions that came with the unit are easy to follow. I will be using this unit to service my MACAN rear brakes next which requires to set the emergency parking brake in service mode. I will update this review again once I have used the unit more but so far this unit has worked out and I have already saved money. This unit is a must any DIY people.

I highly recommend this product. I have saved thousands of dollars for myself and my family by using this tool to diagnose multiple vehicles and properly repair them without the use of a high dollar mechanic. I shopped around for a long time to wait for the right diagnostic tool to come by, and this is the one that I chose. I do not regret it at all. A few of my friends have also bought this same tool to use in their small scale business and it has worked like a champ for them with no issues.

This is a great tool, a must have for vehicles these days. Learning to use the tool more in depth. Case is sturdy, device seems sturdy also. Must update the device before use on a vehicle.

Great scanner. I paired mine with Auto Authority subscription for full Mercedes coding. This Maxi also amazing access to hidden features that you can turn on and off for customers. Its wifi range is very far and the VCI bluetooth works fast to connect.

So far I am very pleased with this unit. I'm not technologically savvy, but after a few days of playing around with it, I was able to find the PID that measures Cam Retard on my 99 GMC k2500 with the 5.7l. I was able to turn my distributor to get the measurement between 0 and-2 and get rid of the P1345 code. Now that I figured that out, I can do it again on my 98 GMC C3500 also with the 5.7l. I will be playing around with it some more in the near future to see if I can determine an issue with my 2001 Silverado 1500 4.8l because it seems the ECU has forgotten how to idle the truck and a new throttle position sensor swap didn't do the trick. I'm not an auto mechanic, so it might seem foolish for me to have spent this much money on a tool that won't make me money, but I used to be an aircraft mechanic and I enjoy turning a wrench from time to time. I'm sure there's so many features on this unit that I will never use but dammit, I'll Google as much as possible so I can learn. I found this unit to have a feature for auto shops to input ticket/work orders to a vehicle, and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to scan a car without inputting that information. If I can figure it out, so can you! I did the updates for every vehicle that is in my immediate and extended family. I rated it 3 stars for "easy to use" because I don't like computers and computers don't like me. If you are smart with computers, then you might rate it 5 stars.
