The Autel MaxiSys MS906 PRO ECU Coding Scanner is very easy to use, I've used it twice so far but it already got me out of some car troubles, the dealer was refusing to perform some repairs on my car and with the Autel Scanner I was able to show the dealer the 2 problems I was complaining about. They had no option but to take it in and fix it under warranty. As for durability, I cannot comment yet on it, I will come back in about a year and update my review. But so far, so good. This scanner is the best around. Best bang for your buck! I love this thing! We had recently had an accident at my company and needed to pull the data from the vehicles computer to see what happened and this scanner was able to do this with ease. It is very user friendly and the battery lasts for days! The case is really rugged and has tons of storage for all your future upgrades! The portable charger and wall charger is a plus! Purchased this scanner for Bi-Directional functions and testing. I am still learning, but I find it very easy to use. It seems to work very well. Well worth the money spent for all the function I have now.

    • You need this
IF you are looking for a diagnostic tool for OBD2 vehicle's to present day, this ms906pro is worth it. There are so many functions that require the use of a tool like this to work on modern vehicles. Brake bleeding the RABS system for abs brake's is one action needed if you change the master cylinder, or get air in the system, normal bleeding isn't gonna work, but the ms906pro will get it done. You can actuate many components with this that help diagnose dtc's. You can program key's, ECU's, look at live data, and a lot more. I am diy person, but help out friends and family, and this is a lot cheaper than going to the dealer. This thing will pay for itself with just a few uses. I looked at other brands, but they had issues with update's, and poor tech support. Your life will be so much easier using this. I had a cheap code reader that really didn't have the ability to do anything, and it quit working, did me a favor. I was state certified as a mechanic in everything but engine and transmission rebuilding, worked for a dealership many year's ago, but didn't stay long, and ended up running a cemetery, and working on car's on my off time. I now have MS, and it has slowed me down because my whole left side has muscle wasting, and I have loss of feeling and strength in my arm and hand. This now makes things so much easier, along with other tools. I would highly recommend this device to anyone working in a shop, or in your garage. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this, but I'm glad I did. G-d bless. ... show more

It doesn't work on certain vehicles, once you start navigating on the screen ECU programming is not compatible on USA market cars.

We have used different brand scanners that come with triple the price and we are getting the same capabilities from the Autel compared to the expensive brands. We have used this multiple times and have not been let down. Having the ability to print all component scans is great because we can give a printout to our customers. We have used the TPMS programmers from Autel and was a no brainer when it came to needing a new diagnostic computer. ... show more
