I bought this scanner a couple weeks ago, wanted to really use it before I wrote a review. WOW! I've had other scanners that were good, this one is on a completely different level. I think this thing does everything except change the tires. I had some nagging issues in my vehicle that the cheaper scanners just wouldn't help with, with this one problem solved in no time and without buying extra parts that weren't needed. It allowed me to pinpoint the issues quickly and get the right parts the first time. I am able to see realtime data with the vehicle and diagnose issues quickly. It came with all the adapters for different manufactures and a rugged cases to protect the investment. Huge touchscreen makes it simple to use and the software is self explanatory even for novice mechanics. If you don't have one, just do it. It will pay for itself in no time. 10/10 would buy again.

Been doing auto repair for over 15 years and have gone through a bunch of scanners. the MP900-BT KIT is easily one of the best i've used. i had a BMW E65 in last week for a steering angle sensor reset. Normally that's a pain with the OEM ISTA software, but this tool got into the DSC module and coded it in one shot. no fuss. Also tested it on a 2003 Toyota Estima hybrid battery module, recalibrated it without a hitc. My old MS906BT couldn't do that. Called Autel to check compatibility with 90s vehicles and they were right, it handled everything i threw at it. Bluetooth connection is super stable, even under the lift, Way better than my MS906BY that used to dropout all the time. i almost went for the MS906 Pro, but this has all the same features for a lot less money. The savings along pad for 2 full sets of ratchets. One of the best surprises was the included OBD I adapter. Used it yesterday on a 1995 Land Rover Discovery. i thought i'd have to hardwire it,but the 16-pin adapter worked right out of the box. This scanner now covers almost all the ECU coding jobs in my shop. Still keep the OEM tool around, but his one handles the day-to-day just fine. Blue

My Autel MK808 is almost five years old. Sure, it’s a bit outdated since I didn’t get any extra updates, but it still works perfectly, just like when I first got it. Everyone’s experience with a product is different. I’ve used and still own tools from brands like Autel, Xtool, Topdon, and Launch, with a bunch of models from each. They all have their pros and cons. Not saying other tools can’t have issues, but in the last five years, I’ve never had any problems with my Autel devices. I’ve always felt Autel’s scan tools are hard to beat, they’re definitely one of my favorite brands. While the MK808 does meet my basic needs, I needed something that could handle some coding. So I got the MP900-BT KIT for its ECU coding feature, and it’s Autel’s latest release. It didn’t disappoint, I’ve already coded 5 cars with it. The MP900-BT KIT is Autel’s latest OBDII diagnostic tool, an upgrade from the 808 series, adding some new features like WIFI printing, front-and-rear scanning, and the ability to scan license plates and VINs. It comes with an 8-inch screen (bigger than the 7-inch on the 808), a 7700mAh battery (way better than the 808’s 5000mAh),and an 8MP camera with a flash (the 808 doesn’t have these). That said, the VIN and license plate scanning still needs some work before I consider it really useful. One great thing, MP900-BT KIT includes 11 OBD1 adapter, which helps expand diagnostics to specific vehicles and saved me some money on buying extra adapters.

I was torn between the MP900, MP900BT and MP900-BT KIT. But after researching, I decided the MP900-BT KIT was the best option for me. It comes with Bluetooth and all the necessary connectors, which is really hand. I've used it on a few family cars, including a 2015 BMW3 series, and it works well. Just yesterday, I used it to code some hidden features on the BMW. The process was easy. Just plugged it in, followed the on-screen prompts and it was done in minutes. It saved me the trouble and cost of going to the dealership. The toll also gave me detailed error codes, helping me quickly identify and resolve issues. This is my first Autel tool and I am really happy with it.

Got it in all excited to get it charged and begin using it. BUT the battery wouldn't take charge. Had to send it back, and there was no replacement. So not a owner of one of these. Darn

Been really impressed with the tool so far, by far faster then my older Autel scanner. Compact size and ease of use in a professional shop is key for us. Would highly recommend for any auto professional or enthusiast.
