Setup was pretty easy, only issue I had was after registration of the device programming updates only showed a 1year subscription and device is supposed to have 2years free. Contacted the seller on Amazon and with quick response they where able to help me and my scanner now has 2years of free updates no issues. GREAT Customer Service...

After receiving my obd2 scanner I did all the update and registered it and it works like a charm has paid for it self already on just two of my cars that has been having problem and not it’s all fix and running well. With the price of automotive scanners costing as much as a car, I did a lot of searching for an affordable scanner that still had multiple functions. I called autel to verify the scanner covered some of the things I was looking for, they verified it did, so I bought it. Came with about every dongle you could need. Autel soon followed up with multiple emails to make sure it was to my liking and if I had any other questions. Disclaimer… I have not had the chance to do as much as I wanted yet but it has performed great for a few uses on different vehicles. I keep it updated on a weekly basis which is very simple to do. The Bluetooth is great, you can plug it in and walk/move around the vehicle if need with no cable (one of the reasons for purchasing). This Tablet / Scanner is very easy to use and feels comparable to the ones twice the price. Not all roses. Couple notes would be, it should come with a screen protector (bought one right away from autel and it went on perfect) secondly it doesn’t do TPMS (I knew this and still bought it). If your looking for a great tool at a great price this is it. At least for my needs.

We run an auto repair business with many field service techs. We have a suite of Autel scan tools, and if you are not looking for the biggest screen, all the fancy ADAS functionality and J2534 pass thru programming (which most don't need), this scan tool is probably the best bang for your buck. There are some other up and coming brands out there that will do advanced bi-directional functions but I found the interfaces to be much less intuitive, and the functionality is sometimes limited to a fault and you find yourself needing a better tool. We have an MS909, MS908CV, a couple of MP808's, a DS808, as well as this one, the MP808BT (which is just the wireless bluetooth version of the other 808's). All work great, we seamlessly upload PDF documents of our scan reports to repair orders, and overall very happy with Autel and the great work they do. There are ones with bigger screens and a slightly more robust GUI, but overall they all have the same vehicle coverage and functionality, again, unless you need ADAS functionality or J2534 pass-thru (for seriously advanced users only).
