This scanner and its features are really helpful to use as a technician and specially the free updates for 2 years and the price after if you opt to pay for it is not bad, if not u can keep the old updates and scanner has the same features it had day one.

Even though this is advertised at a 2023 unit it is not. It is really an updated version of the 2022 unit running android 4.4.4 Kit Kat the newest model 2023 unit runs Android 11 which is much newer and much faster along with being more secure. For most people this will do just fine and it comes at a great price point and comes with all the adaptors which the new version does not. If you want the latest version pay extra and by the newer MP808 PRO otherwise for the average Jo this will do most everything the newer unit does but not as fast. ... show more

I already fix all my car issues With this MP808BT, just keep on mine this is not a TPMS reader, you will be able to edit and program sensor on the ECU but you need a tpms reader to test the sensors, but the active test is a great feature.

I am a 10+ year auto technician, first 8 years with a Mercedes dealership and now I work for a land rover dealership….compared to factory scan tools this Autel is great for resetting service lights, clearing codes, checking live data, among many other useful features. Been using it for a few months now and it 100% helps me do my job faster. Love the fact it’s Bluetooth..you can auto connect it and leave the scanner on your toolbox not having to sit in the car while using it is very helpful. While it might be a little pricy I’ve found buying direct from Autel on Amazon is the cheapest option…anyone who works in the auto industry knows the pitfalls of tool trucks and I have to say my days of buying tools off a truck are long gone. ... show more

The first action to be taken before you get to enjoy the capabilities of this tool is to charge it up. You will have to set up Wi-Fi to upgrade the programming, followed by finding the right password and serial number, then downloading vehicle group programs. The process reminds me of setting up your IPHONE 13 PRO MAX, which if memory serves you need to use for verification feedback during setup although both android and iPhone are preferences. The problem at hand was an EPC and check engine light on a 2009 Bentley flying spur speed with 46k mileage. Once you choose the vehicle group and go into diagnostics you can do an initial complete scan, which in this case showed 2 or 3 areas that needed attention, but when I ran the identified problems, they were all nominal. Thinking codes would show by themselves was not the answer since there is a category you have to enter. The coolest thing for me is the system checks that operate all OEM relay’s with audible verification, then both CPU’s and the gateway head. You have to relax and find your way around like I did to understand the complete menu options. I ran diagnostics again all nominal, still EPC check engine light on!? Remember I mentioned you have to go to codes category well you should check this for each system group you enter even if system is nominal. The problem was intermittent codes from earlier repairs that we not reset. Engine was running fine before, not in limp home mode, but EPC and check engine light were still on. This was a case of either lazy service or not having the ability to tell the computers when it was repaired, either way the reset eliminated all the gremlins which were numerous and widespread. ... show more
