is an excellent key programming tool with free lifetime updates, which keeps you safe from subscription costs. The compatibility differs, however, so purchase accordingly. The construction is okay but not high-end, and the battery should last longer for sessions of extended durations. In general, it's a solid, affordable option for professionals and DIYers who need a heavy-duty tool without the long-term expense.

Works great. Was able to delete keys and add new keys on my 17 Ford Explorer 5 Button smart key. Very well worth it.

This thing is great! I recently had a problem with my daughter's car. It wouldn't start after her key man changed her fob out with a new casing. The car would turn over and start for just one second and then die. Turns out the key man changed out the fob casing alright but never put her original chip in it. The immobilizer light fashes and that told me that there wasn't anything wrong with the car at all and it was the key instead. After ordering this unit I was able to use it to clone the frequency on the ignition to program the chip in her new fob and viola! The car started up and my daughter has her car back good as new. She and I are so happy because now she can take her new baby to her doctors appointments and go back to work soon. There's other functions this unit has aswell but I'm so new to it that I haven't been able to get into them all yet. Looking forward into using it more in the future as I just finally got my key cutting machines in for use in our shop. The key man wanted $300.00 to disable my daughter's immobilizer which would leave it vulnerable to theft this unit saved us from that and I'm quite sure it'll more than okay fir itself as it has already just with my daughter's car alone in the money we saved from having someone else do what was needed. The customer service is very nice and responsive aswell should anyone ever need them. I'll probably need them fir a while myself so I'm looking forward to making friends at least until I because more proficient with it.
