I am not tech savvy nor a real gear head but this is the second Autel product I've used in which I accomplished my task on the first try with no errors or issues. Honestly the key clone happened so fast I was certain I screws something up. I have a 2012 Prius V smart key platform. I bought the key separately based on the frequency parameter and used the intuitive menu options and less than 5 minutes in I had a new smart key copy. The other Autel tool I used with amazing results was the TPMS TS408 I am not a mechanic nor plan to make money off of these tools but I believe the investment will be paid off over the years as the new fobs can be $200+ and tpms replacement can be $80+ per tire. That was my justification for purchasing these anyhow

I purchased this because I already own a key programmer, but do not like the annual fees. This device includes free updates and was able to program a new spare key for my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV.

Saw a video of a car repair guy using this tool to get the code from a 46 smart key for a 2013 Kia just like mine so I invested $500 on this. Spent so much on this tool and it doesn’t even communicate with my car. Can’t get the code even after installing all updates and trying various ways to get the code. Save money and don’t buy this. Better go to a locksmith.

There was no need to spend much time learning, just following the instruction on screen, I easily programed the 2 pcs of IKEY included for my 2016 Ford F150. those 2 new keys are working great so far, save me time and money.
