My SnapOn solus edge took a crap on me. I could buy this for less money than it would have taken me to get my SnapOn scanner repaired and updated. Even doing that with SnapOn I would still lack the ability to program keys and perform system updates. Over all this was afar better choice for me. It’s easy to use and a great option

I have used several products manufactured by Autel over the years and have yet to be disappointed. This is no exception. The Autel IM508 pro is a powerful and versatile automotive key programming tool! It combines diagnostic features and more than 20 useful maintenance service functions, this integration (diagnostic and key programming) makes it a valuable tool to have for any locksmith, technician, or anyone that needs to program vehicle keys. Combining the IM508 with the XP400 pro gives you an even better value. (It's almost like getting the IM608 for have the price.) Out of the box it comes with 2 years of updates included, after that the updates are running about $350 a year. The tool will not become useless if you don't do the update it just will not have the most up to date information and will not be able to program the newer model year, but compared to the competitors the yearly renewal cost is extremely reasonable (I highly recommend keeping the tool up to date). I have pictured everything you get in the box and a few pictures of the immo screens. The construction of the tablet will allow for years of hard use and the case the tool comes in can take a beating too. If you want to add to your arsenal of quality tools or only have the budget to get only one then this is the one I would get.

Edited to say this is a true 2025 product just not for all vehicles; I own a 2018 Q5 and was trying to clone a BCM 2 but I was not seeing the chip type for that module in the software it can clone from 2012 to 2017 but nothing from 2018 to 2025. After speaking with the company they confirmed that my car manufacturer had upgraded the immobilizer system for the Audi Q5 vehicle models since 2017 hence why this device could not work with my vehicle. All in all this product as worked with other vehicles I have access to and been of great help in my profession so I am keeping it and adding 3 more stars.

He trabajo unos años como electromecánico automotriz, en el lugar que trabajo había utilizado el im608 2 pro, y siempre soñé tenerlo .! Pero no se me había permitido por la diferencia de precio, entonces encontré el im508, después de ver algunos review lo compré.! Y no me arrepiento. Es una grand herramienta de diagnósticos . Y programación de llaves, y no se limita en nada.! Ya que cuenta con el xp400 pro .! En cuanto el diagnóstico puedes hacer alineación de proxy de BCM Y TODOS LOS MÓDULOS de chrysler, dodge y jeep es algo que siempre lo había hecho con el software OEM, puedes programar módulos nuevos y usados de Ford y algunos Toyota a es genial Y en cuento a programación la única limitación es tu conocimiento .! Y no te pide ser miembro de ninguna página adicional para leer los pin code de los autos En cuanto al xp400. Una ves que encuentres el driver puedes leer y copiar eeprom desde tu pc y escribirlos editado es genial
