I had been watching this for a while and finally decided to buy it, and it arrived quickly. Autel has been rock solid for me. Interface is clean and easy to use. The first test was a BMW 5 series and didn’t connect first. I contacted support and they helped me update the VCI firmware, and it worked perfectly after that. Full scan, active tests, CBS reset all ran smoothly. The before-and-after reports make it easy to explain things to customer. Updates come more often than I expected. Support said most functions still work even after the two-year update period. Everyday stuff like oil reset, battery change, and brake service all work fine. Been using it for a few weeks now. Super smooth and no failed jobs. Fast charging dock and case are nice extras. Really happy with it and would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Ultra Lite. This tool works well for European auto diagnosing and servicing. It does not however work for Mercedes online SCN coding no matter what they say. The tool was supposed to come with 2 years of updates and there was some confusion with them giving the second year but ultimately they did put it on the account. There are a lot of nice to haves with this tool as it's faster than the older Elite but ultimately it depends on what you would need it for. A ~$1200 Autel MS906BT will do most everything you need service and diagnosis but without the better faster interface and screen size. If you're doing programming and coding the Ultra Lite is worth the extra, just don't feel surprised when you still need to fall back on the factory tools to do certain tasks. For the money ~$3500 tax included you will not find better value. I would have purchased the non lite version but I have other oscilloscope tools and already have all the adapter dongles for older vehicles.

Im Running a medium-size garage and also a 15 year experience pro, but lately, I have more and more cars to diagnose, and realized i needed a new high end diagnostic device. So I zeroed in on the recommended autel scanners. i dived into some new scanners and found the ultra lite to be the best fit for my needs. It's affordable and with lots of powerful features just as maxis ultra but much cheaper. It's said that ultra lite covers 150 makes. I haven't had chance to test them all, but I did use them on some models such as Subaru Outback, Ford Escape, Toyota Corolla, and Chevrolet Silverado. The system diagnosis and advanced matching functions all work well on these vehicles. Though I noticed that the functions are not the same in all models, they are deep enough, especially for system diagnosis and reset features. I absolutely will recommend it to others.

The guy working with me in an auto service shop highly recommended this monster to me and said ultra lite scanner was so great that even had won the frame of autel most versatile diagnostic scanner. Given it’s so high asking price for sure it has luxury features. And it does. The unit gives everything any mechanic could ask for. It will handle any system on the car, locate the problems quickly, and some smart uses it can reduce the chances of getting stuck on problematic car. Highly recommended. Love it
