This tent is decent quality and very large. The fabric is well insulated and kept us warm in 15F weather with a small heater. There were two issues when it arrived; one zipper was sewn down and there was a small hole in the ceiling (see attached pictures). I think the hole was caused in shipping by the chimney vent hardware. Overall I am satisfied and this is a big upgrade over my Eskimo Quick Fish 2. Update: the company contacted me and we have found a solution to the issues stated above. Good to know that good customer service still exists. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great winter camping set up. Solid build, has held up on 2 Yosemite trips and 1 week in the Sequoias. Shelter holds heat well and works great with either a wood stove or Buddy a heater. Easy to set up and take down. Can be done solo, but 2 people makes it much easier. The tent is very spacious and can accommodate 4-6 people. However, with the stove in place, 2-3 adults would be more realistic. More than leaky: The other reviews hold true. This shelter is NOT designed for rain. It’s a design issue, rather than a quality issue. The windows are secured with Velcro, and even a light rain can ruin your trip. -I’ve seen older models with a rain fly sewn in above each window. I’m not sure why this feature was left out, but I think it’s a big enough issue for Nordic Legend to address, especially is they are trying to market to western camping market. This shelter gets a lot of positive attention at camp and would be a big hit out in California, Nevada, Colorado if it were more weather resistant and didn’t leak so much. ... show more
