This little shredder is awesome. It’s compact enough to be tucked away in a cubby, and it will absolutely shred 4 pieces at a time. I ran it for half an hour on the “auto” setting. I had to empty the basket 3 times in that half hour. Shredding was slowed on thick, plastic-y sheets (think plastic insurance card weight), but still ran relatively smoothly. In general though, the shredder pulls sheets of paper in fast and smoothly. The printer is a bit heavy for its size, but feels sturdy. The noise level is average. Oh man, I love this thing! My old shredder was a lot bigger and really just in the way a lot but this one is much more compact and gets the job done! I've had it for a long while now and it still works exactly like when i first got it. Completely worth whatever I spent. I needed a desk top shredder for space reasons. I had trouble finding one - I had a Fellows Powershred previously that apparently is no longer available - so this fits the bill. Works well, not too noisy, decent quality, and fits on the shelf over my desk. I like the handle also. I only need it for light shredding so it works for me. It is not for heavy duty/office shredding. My only real negative is the size of the shredded pieces. I attached a pic of the Fellows (top) verus this one and the shred size is large and too readable for my liking. You have to be careful to put pages in with written lines horizontal to make sure the shredder chops them as much as possible for top security. ... show more

I'm surprised I like this so much, given it's size. I have a full-size shredder upstairs, but wanted a desktop size for my pantry so I can sort and shred mail w/o hauling it all over the house. This little shredder is a powerhouse! It truly delivers a good crosscut giving you the security of well sheedded documents. Its perfect if you want to minimize the footprint and save space with your shredder. It tucks away nicely under your desk or could probably fit in a desk niche. You cannot put a standard 8x11 paper sheet in. But that isn't a deal breaker for me because I just fold the sheet of paper and that works fine. Emptying the bin is quick and easy. This little shredder is the perfect size for my small desk, and it cross cuts! I am retired and get inundated with paper mail from Medicare Supplemental ads. It’s nice to just shred my personal info from the papers, and then recycle the rest: this little shredder does the job. It’s not going to work for you if you have a lot of shredding to do, and it doesn’t take more than two pieces at once, but for my small shredder needs, it’s perfect. I keep it in its box under a table. My shredding needs are few and I’m fine with the two-page limit. Two quirks: Unit has a 15-minute usage limit and then it will shut down.
