Got it as a replacement from Amazon after I returned a tripod before that was supposed to be this one , that order that was not even close to what I ordered. So one day as I waited for my refund, (5 days later)I saw a package on my porch and bam the right one was there. I opened it and it was the one I wanted. Pretty heavy duty( at least for me ) sturdy legs , very convenient controls and it goes to about 6’ if not a little more , that’s w/o a cam on top. But thus if your a intermediate user like me it’s awesome. Plus the ability to use it with a phone and my go pro if I wanted too. It seems pretty versatile.     • Good Value Tripod with Pro-sumer quality
This tripod is a straight forward beginner tripod with decent features friendly for beginners, budget hobbyists, and pros. It comes with standard three-sectioned folding legs supported by the middle post, which has a nice locking mechanism and a hook perfect for a sandbag. The accessories are also nice too, with the phone adapter being one of the more nifty things that came in the bundle. The Bluetooth remote is pretty cheap and standard, but does what it's supposed to so kinda nice that it came with that extra gift. Construction of the tripods buld is made from nice, solid and light aluminum(or what I assume to be from my experience in owning metal tripods) so portability is not an issue, especially since it's can actually be really compact folded up. That being said, make use of the hook and sandbag your tripod, especially if your camera is on the heavier side. Overall nice camera for beginners to start with and decent for pros to have in thier equipment arsenal. ... show more

    • Great replacement tripod
I purchased this tripod to replace an older model that had seen its best days. It's very lightweight, sturdy and compacts nicely into its carrying case, although I plan to leave it up since I bought it to remain in a fixed location. the swivels and adjustment controls are easy and fluid. The height is what I need to get over the heads of taller individuals who would be in my long (40') video shot. It has a hook for down-weighting when you might need it. I don't plan on using the remote but it looks easy to use. I think I'm going to love this product. ... show more

Tripod appears to be quite sturdy. The legs are easy to open and close. It was easy to put together. However, watch for the lock nut on the handle. It is very small and I almost lost it in the unpacking. I needed a second tripod for a secondary location and this was a great value for the money. As usual, prices change so be sure to compare prices. Will edit this review once I put the tripod through some paces. ... show more

I needed a tripod that would allow me to stand comfortably, I'm 6'1", to stargaze with binoculars mounted. This allows me to narrow in on planets and stars with smooth operation. The handle that's attached let's me easily move the tripod back under the porch with the binoculars still mounted, without letting the legs back up before moving. Very sturdy and smooth equipment function. And for the price you just can't beat this unless they gave it to you. ... show more

I used it for photogrammetry, and it seems to work fine, it is highly adjustable and despite all the plastic parts it seems like it would hold up fairly well. I wouldn't recommend trying to run over it with your car or throwing it off a cliff to see if it will stay intact but I can't imagine it would break too easily and for the price you really can't beat it. ... show more

I bought this as a starter tripod and am very pleased with this purchase. It's a great value and has decent features for the price point. It's taller than most others in this price range which helps make it more flexible, It's lightweight and easy to move but it's stable and holds the camera steady as it should. It came with nice rubber feet, a Cell phone holding bracket, and even a decent carrying case bag to keep it in. Overall this is perfect for what I needed and even if I upgrade to a more pro style stand later, this will still likely get used. ... show more

This Aureday 74’’ Camera Tripod replaced a 40” flimsy tripod that came with my camera when I bought it. I then got a 7” monitor and the 40” tripod’s neck would snap under the weight of camera + monitor. + it didn’t stabilize so if I tried to zoom, I had super shaky footage. This Aureday 74’’ Camera Tripod holds my camera + monitor just fine + I don’t have to hurt my back bending down to 40” anymore (I’m 5’9). + comes in a little travel bag.
