Good enough for the tripod needs on occasion. The case is compact, therefore it's easy to keep it in a car or a sac/pack. It is good carry case. I would consider the builders of quality at the bottom, but excellent enough to be used occasionally. If you would like to use I expect it to survive up to six months everyday, if you shoot with a heavier camera, with careful care and heavy use maybe just a few months. ... show more

The first time we used this tripod, we found there is a defect or part missing. It's barely usable. We have to roll up the bag and place it beneath the mounting plate to hold the tablet because there is no way to tighten the mounting plate. In fact, it comes right off easily. Thankfully we made it through the poetry reading without the tablet falling to the ground, but with bated breath. So disappointing. Update - The vendor replaced the defective tripod with a new one very promptly and it works great, so I'm revising my review. It's good to know that they stand behind the products they sell. I took this tripod skydiving. At about 3000 ft I dropped it. iPhone attached. Guess what!? Best video ever. I got to the tripod and it was open, upright and legs extended. This thing is made of magic. Not sure what voodoo they used to make it but this things awesome!

I like how lightweight this is, but I cannot use this for what I bought it for—to hold my iPad Pro while videotaping, which the description claimed it could accommodate. After three uses, the iPad holder started falling apart every time I tried to use it; the end-pin pops off and the holder falls apart. Once I almost dropped my iPad because of it.
