The media could not be loaded. Upon some review on Subox pro i measured this box to be tuned to roughly 36-38 hz, port area is about 14 give or take, roughly 1.1cu ft after displacement this is more than enough for a single 8, sounds good on a skar vd8. Can't wait to throw a bigger 8 in this.

I bought this box Nov 12, 2023, 8 months ago. Price I paid 298. 00 Worth the price. I came back to buy another one only to find the price about 65% higher at 498.00 We all know things have gotten expensive, but that is just ludicrous. So the box actually 28.5 with the recessed ends port is 13.25 tall 2 wide by 24 long that works out to 31hz the box is actually 2.2 after accommodation for the Port and a normal sub that displaces 0.16 so just for everyone who is wanting g that little bigger cuft and little lower hz that's the numbers I got made me happy now to hook it up and get the real world listen/update the box saounds nice and low especially with the hdx3 from soundqubed fs of 26 o. The 12 inch . I have 1 complaint the terminal is right at the cut out for the sub which is where the most sound psi is mine had a screw that wasn't set i removed all screws on the terminal wired the sub with ring terminals to the back of the terminal supplied and set the screws to the proper tension they weren't stripped or lose the very first test run after installed all the tiny screws stripped their holes and blew terminal outtheside . I thought I heard a change in the bass so looked and the terminal sitting outside the box so used bigger screws and caulked the hole fit the terminal back in no problem since . The sub cut out needed to fit a hdx is slight small but better then big and i sanded it is way better the jig sawing ... show more

I ordered this box because I had purchased a pair of Skar EVL 8's I did not realize at the time that there really are no boxes built for these woofers This was the closest I could find so I tried it. It does not sound good with the Skar Evl 8s Now I have a giant ass box sitting in my garage I will likely throw it away. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else thinks of trying the same thing. I got some cheap tarantula t5 10s in it. For being a prefab it is tuned pretty good at 37hz. Only make sure your subs will fit its only 9.25" cut out . They will hold sundown sa series and skar evl series and make them sound pretty good. Anything bigger I do recommend a custom box. I recommend ordering 2 SMD terminals to run your dvc speakers. Well worth the money as long as you pay 159 or less. Anything more upgrade to the down4sound profab box for 189. Enjoy bassheads. ... show more
