    • awesome subwoofer box for 2 8's
Review Image by G.Moncler

I purchased this subwoofer box for 2 of my Sundown X8 V3 subwoofers. My previous box was much smaller, and the bass was loud, but this box has added more bandwidth to my music. great box and feels well-built and stout. I had to cut the holes for the Sundown X8 V3 subs so keep that in mind if you plan to use this box with those subwoofers. the port is big the carpet is very nice. I recommend this box over other boxes that I have found on Amazon on this day. ... show more

From what others have posted you are taking a chance on getting one that was put together properly, but I got one of those. It actually looks a lot better in person than the pictures in the listing. The MDF is in fact 3/4 inch according to my cheapo calipers, but I have no clue how to verify the internal volume of the box. The box is in fact tuned for 46hz as advertised according to my oscilloscope and signal generator app. Love the side port in my application as I leave one of the seats in my 2013 Impala down. These 2 8's get way louder on less power with the port pointed in the cab than my 1 ohm 12 in a bigger SPL box did. Pair with a pair of 45hz fs dvc 4 ohm 8 inch subs this setup sounds so damn tight and punchy. It also has no problem rumbling around 33hz. Any lower though and there isn't any volume. This thing is HEAVY. That's the real drawback of 3/4 MDF. Really good for not resonating but man are they heavy. The ONLY is only one negative. The terminals are fastened to the box with square head screws? Who uses those? In conclusion well worth the 145 bucks I paid for it. ... show more

Nice box...I put some sound proof materials on the inside giving it hard deep notes... Looks and works great... unfortunately it came damaged on arrival but I didn’t take it out to install until over a month later so it was hard to say something then. So please check your box when it arrive. Overall great box! ... show more

    • Amazing Box!!
Review Image by Bryan
This is the best prefab box I’ve ever bought. I used it to house 2 toro audio fierce 8s. Very tight fit on sub cutout but it worked great. These 8s sound amazing and hit the lows, very impressed for just 2 8s.

    • Not made for subs it says
Had to cut the sub holes to fit my dd audio subs. Very cheap speaker terminals which i dont care about but a decent pair would be nice. Now that my subs are installed, lets see if it can handle any type of bass. They put a QR CODE ON THE INSIDE TO GET THE SPECS BUT THAT DOESNT WORK. BUY A GROUND SHAKER AND SAVE YOURSELF SOME TROUBLE AND MONEY ... show more
