The point of this review is that I don't feel like I got what I was expecting based on the product photos and description. Notice that none of the photos show the BACK of the unit. That's because the back is open and the inside guts are exposed. That's fine if you're putting it up against a wall or a taller couch. But against a shorter couch, or in my case an entertainment center, the open back is visible and not finished. Next, the photos are not realistic. The unit looks very rustic in the photos. Its not at all. It's a clean, smooth finish that doesn't look anywhere as close to as rustic as the photos suggest. It's still nice looking. But not what I thought I was ordering. I added decorative copper sheets to the back to try and finish it out some. Lastly, the quality seems pretty good. There are a LOT of pegs and cam-lock hardware in the piece. But no glue included. It is just MDF furniture. So I'd suggest using some glue in the peg holes at the very least. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m obsessed with how this console table looks in our entryway! The dark wood has a rich, natural tone that adds warmth and depth. It feels very solid and well-made — not flimsy at all. I love how easy it is to decorate — I added a pink glass vase, a mirror, and some framed photos, and it immediately looked cozy and intentional. Sturdy and easy to build. It looks more expensive than it is. It even looks heavier than it is, which is convenient for moving it around. The size is perfect for an entryway that isn’t too long. I would have given this 5 stars but the joints didn't completely line up once assembled. We had add some hardware on the inside to pull the joints tight. Otherwise, we love it! People always comment on it because it is a stand out piece of furniture in our home.
