    • Vingli compatible diaphragms
I bought these diaphragms on a reccomendation from another purchaser who bought them for use in their Vingli pool vacuum. Since they said they worked on their Vingli I decided to give them a try. When they arrived I noticed that the diaphragms were approximately 1/8" shorter than the diaphragms which came with my Vingli vacuum. I also noticed that the plastic retaining ring was slightly wider than the ring on the diaphragms which came with the Vingli, otherwise they looked and felt like the original diaphragms supplied with my Vingli. I was a bit concerned with the noted differences so I decided to swap out my OEM Vingli diaphragm with one of these replacements. Since the plastic ring was wider than that on the original it did not settle firmly into the groove on the plastic pipe the diaphragm attached to. It did however stay on the pipe, though not as tightly as the original diaphragm. Luckily the way the Vingli is designed, ample pressure is applied to the diaphragm and plastic pipe it attaches to, combined with the inherent suction when the vacuum is running, the diaphragm stays in place despite the minor differences compared to the OEM diaphragms. These new ones therefore work as good, if not better than the original diaphragms at a third of the replacement cost.     • It works on a Vingl pool sweep
The product came timely and well packaged. It did not have installation instructions. But, it is not complicated. Hint, heat the plastic tube and the diaphragm with hot tap water. Run water on the exterior of both parts and inside the tube. The diaphragm will connect on the tube with firm pressure. Make sure the O ring is in the tube slot. Do not pull the tube and diaphragm through the sweep body. Push the tube and diaphragm in the body from the bottom firmly. ... show more

    • They Shipped Me The Cheaper White Diaphragm Instead Of What I Ordered Which Was The Yellow Diaphragm
I would like to give a review of this YELLOW Diaphragm as I ordered it for my G3 Zodiac G3 Baracuda W69698 YELLOW Long Life at the cost of $24.50 for the package of 2 pieces....HOWEVER, Pool Supply Town did not send me what I ordered. Instead They Sent Me The WHITE Lesser Expensive ones with the red retainer ring numder W69698 W81600 at the cost of $18.50. I am disappointed for 3 reasons 1) The Yellow Diaphragm is Thicker and last longer 2) The White(clearish color) is Thinner and does not last as long & cheaper product 3) Yellow cost $24.50 White cost $18.50 So I lost $6.00 because they sent me the cheaper pair even though I ordered the Yellow more expensive pair. Because I needed the Diaphragm desperately I went ahead and used 1 of the White(clearish color) they sent and sadly it only lasted 2 days total. A Complete waste of my money and my time. I have had the thicker yellow ones before and they are far better. Because of their shipping error I overpaid by $6.00 and have to buy again elsewhere.     • Like a New Pool Sweep!
Cut to the chase: I did not think through the likelihood that a part that is pulsating as frequently as this would change characteristics over time. But DUH.....after about six years of operation, our Barracuda pool sweep was not moving effectively. I had made numerous adjustments pump speed and suction pressure before I realized that I should replace the diaphragm. The package arrive and about 10 minutes later, I was backing suction pressure down to the suggested levels as the sweep raced about the pool walls. I should add that I now have a message on my electronic calendar to change the diaphragm every two years. Very good value...and so simple! ... show more

Bought these knock off diaphragms to try to save some money, but after I installed the first one, the pipe that connects/screws to the diaphragm wouldn’t stayed screwed in to the pool sweep housing. Even after tightening as tight as I could, it would come unscrewed again after 10 minutes of sweeping. This lasted 2 weeks until I finally decided to buy the Zodiac brand diaphragm. Once I got the Zodiac one, the issue stopped. I would not buy these again or recommend them to anyone. ... show more

    • Works great until it doesn't
I bought 4 of these yellow diaphragms, after reading the reviews that said they lasted just over a month and died just after the return window. I've got to give them credit. They have that return window right exactly where they want it! I put the first one in 44 days ago (just over the magic month). It died today and the return window ended exactly 2 weeks ago. While it was working it worked great. So since I bought 4 of them hopefully I will be able to finish out this year and most of next before I need to order more. The silicone right under the hard plastic band on my original white one and the yellow one I just replaced is EXTREMELY thin, which is where they seem to get their rips the most. Since there is a lot of movement with these things and the ring is hard plastic and the rest is soft silicone, I expect the hard movement causes the wear and it doesn't really look like it is preventable. Simply keep a supply of these things and don't expect them to work forever. ... show more

Selected this brand based on reviews (many) which were mostly favorable. Checking You Tube videos, the re4pair guys seemed to suggest using genuine Zodiac parts was better and lasted longer. As there was nothing available on Amazon I picked these. Installation was super easy - 5 minutes, no tools. The dead Barracuda came to life immediately, as least as good as new. The only part now is to see how long it lasts. I'll have no problem replacing these a couple times a year - I don't run the Barracuda full time. I'll follow up with longevity. ... show more
