  • It's great until it isn't. (UPDATED 9/28)
Color: Noir
UPDATED 9/28: So, this chair still is far from the worst thing I've sat in, however, it's gotten quite rickety over the past couple of months. It makes noises every time I shift my weight in it, the arm rests have gotten wobbly despite being tightened as much as possible, and, as of last week, the wheel base has completely broken from normal use. Mind you, I'm an adult. I'm not doing anything crazy in this chair. I was just sitting there, playing Playstation, heard a pop, and down went the chair. If I remove the wheels, the base supports it fine, but is a little wobbly where it snapped. I've tried contacting customer service multiple times, but as my original review states, it's pretty much non-existent. Every time I call, I get a generic message saying all representatives are busy. I'm not super salty considering that I knew I was taking a gamble on this thing to begin with. However, I would've spent my money elsewhere had I known I was only going to get five months of use out of it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ended up going with this chair over some better known brands because it was the only one I could find that wasn't pleather for under $300. I've been using this chair for about a month now and I love it. Putting the chair together isn't nearly as difficult as some here make it seem, just make sure you're paying attention because the instructions to tell you to put the part that holds the seat on backwards, however the piece has a giant arrow labeled "BACK," so it isn't hard to figure out. The Pros: -The chair's pretty comfortable and I've noticed my back feels a hell of a lot better than it does after a few hours of gaming on my couch. -One of the more affordable gaming chairs on the market. -Made of fabric rather than leather, which is nice if you have a cat that loves to dig their claws into leather like I do. - I'm a pretty hefty guy (5'8", 280 lbs) and this chair holds well. The recline feature doesn't feel flimsy under my weight either. Cons: -The seat does feel pretty hard during extending gaming sessions. I threw a memory foam cushion on it and it does wonders. - The lumbar support pillow is pretty useless and hard as a rock. - The sides of the bucket seats can dig into your legs if you've got meaty thighs, and that can get a bit uncomfortable during long sessions. Honestly though, by the time I'm noticing it, it's way past time for me to sign off and go to bed anyhow. - This thing is a pet fur magnet. Make sure you have a lint roller on-hand. All in all, this is a solid chair. I'd definitely recommend it if you're not super keen on dumping a ton of cash into a Secret Lab or DX Racer. It'll serve you well. Most of these companies are using the same parts anyway. However, be forewarned, this company is all but non-existent. I tried looking them up on social media and everything, the instructions even suggest it, and they have literally one follower and it's the founder, so don't expect a ton of tech support on their end. In short, have realistic expectations. Know you're getting what you pay for. ... show more

  • Not a long term buy
Color: Noir
At first the chair was perfect. I have had it about 3-4 months now and noticed that the seat has worn down (I'm not a heavy person) and It's pretty uncomfortable now. Also the chair squeeks with every little movement. 6 months in, the cushion is completely gone and a wheel has broken.

  • The height adjustment is broken after 1 week of use
Color: Equinox Plus
I got this chair because it supposedly boasts a 400lb max weight, I am a big guy at just under 280, I got the chair and was putting it together when I noticed that the instructions say max weight limit is 300 lbs, I am under that so I wasn't too peeved by it... literally a week in and it will not hold the height adjustment I need... I probably should have known that with the price there was no way it ACTUALLY boasted 400lb weight limit as those usually run up around 500-600$ but the fact that I am under the weight suggestion and it didn't last more than a week is frustrating beyond reason. ... show more

  • This chair is OK.
Color: Noir
Initially, I was super excited to get this chair. However, the chair was a bit difficult to put together because the instructions are unclear. Whenever I get a new item that needs to be assembled, I take everything out of the box and make sure all the parts are there. To my dismay, I couldn't seem to find the screws needed to assemble the chair. In the instructions, there is a list of all the items included in the box. It did not indicate that the screws are actually in the chair. I almost did a return on the chair until I read a very helpful review that mentioned where the screws were. The only mention of the location of the screws is in step number 4 of the instructions and it says to remove them from the base. I spent an hour being pissed off that I had to return this chair. Now that the chair is assembled, it seemed all fine and good until you sit in it. The chair is actually quite comfortable. As others noted, the seat is a bit hard but I don't mind it. I like the two pillows that come with it. However, the chair leans forward. Even when it's in an upright, locked position, the chair still leans forward. I'm strongly considering disassembling this chair and sending it back. I shouldn't have to balance myself upright to sit flat in my chair and I don't like the feeling that I'm leaning forward when I'm not pushing the chair up with my legs. It's OK. I wouldn't recommend the purchase. UPDATE: After further reading, I realized the instructions are wrong. When installing the chair mechanism to the seat of the chair, the instructions have the picture backward. Pay attention to the mechanism, there is a mark on it that says "Front". Face that forward toward the front of your chair. If you install it as the instructions say, you will tilt forward constantly. ... show more

  • Poor quality don’t give as a gift
Color: Pulse Plus
The media could not be loaded. I was extremely excited to purchase this gift after moving in with with my boyfriend as a nice gesture for overly feminizing his room and wanting make sure he still had his gaming area. When assembling the chair the screws come assembled (to test the secure fit) and you have to remove them and assemble the chair yourself (odd I’ve never seen companies do this before) well one of the screws was overly torqued to the point that the frame was dented at the base and their is no way to contact the seller (even amazon tried) to get a replacement or partial refund I was able to assemble the chair with out removing the screw do to it being dented in but then looking at the neck rest the plastic framing is also broken. I know my boyfriend will appreciate the new chair but it’s devastating when you want to give someone a nice gift to have it come so damaged after paying so much there are many other chairs for cheaper that I’ve purchased for my brothers that were better quality. ... show more
